“I bought a wooden raised bed to replace a box hedge which had succumbed to the box caterpillar. The bed arrived quicker than expected and was well packed with metal corner brackets and a box of screws which was a bonus!”

“product was spot on delivery service wasn't the best as it come 5 days later than it should have through no fault of scaffold direct but the carrier they used wasn't the best but when i highlighted this to them they organised another delivery and it came the next day. would have been 5 stars but their courier let them down.”

“Good company to deal with, was responsive to enquiries, prices have increased a fair bit since last year including delivery charges but was able to save a bit by using independent courier which scaffold direct cooperated with to make it stress free. Have purchased twice from these now and would do again when needed.”

“Delivered quickly and good price. The brand of limpet sold by Scaffolding Direct has a longer bolt than other suppliers which means it can be used with thicker timber. However, what the website description doesn't state is that the bolt threads are peened, preventing the bolt being removed from the clip withoput some careful thread reforming with a file. Don't think this is a manufacturing fault but not sure why it is done but it would have been helpful to include that info in the product description.”

“Bought scaffolding boards and they were delivered about a couple of weeks later. Boards themselves are decent. I thought shipping cost was high - about £80 for four long boards and a couple of packs of 2ft boards. So shipping cost more than the boards. Hey ho.”

The delay on the boards has been a symptom of present circumstance, but this has improved and we are putting actions in place to help with the flow of stock to our customers. This is now proving very positive. We use third party carriers to ensure we can deliver both national and international, and carriage is based on length and weight.
