“I was very pleased with the materials I received from Savoy and the delivery was fantastic. However I am extremely disappointed with the customer service, it’s terrible. I can’t get hold of the Wigan branch no matter how many times I ring and my emails would be quicker responded by a carrier pigeon. It’s ridiculous and unfortunately really spoiled my experience of what started off as an excellent one. I am still waiting for a back order or parts for my project and my latest email has been ignored with the ETA of the product.”

“I have used Savoy Timber on a number of occasions and have always been pleased with what was sent. The latest order was delayed while stock was replaced but I wasn't able to make use of it immediately anyway and have only started my project today. I am not a professional tradesman, more a competent DIY enthusiast and have therefore shopped around various suppliers over a number of years. If the need arises - and I'm pretty sure it will - I will certainly looking at Savoy for what I require again.”

“A good range of timber which seems to be of reasonable quality but recently I had to order some large lengths of timber that needed to be delivered, delivery was slow and most of the timbers were badly warped, almost like bananas. Driver said not his fault as he doesn't load them!”

“Fast delivery. Good quality worktops and lots of different sizes other stores don’t offer. Delivery drivers were brilliant. I live in a narrow street where I struggle to get deliveries. Delivery drivers went above and beyond and carried worktops inside for me. Amazing service”

“Great delivery, phoned ahead and backed onto drive way to unload. Smashing delivery driver who said, when I asked about a damaged board that I had seen, intimidated that an extra board is normally added to compensate. No extra board(s) despite me identifying (after the event) 4 damaged or very poor quality boards. I should have simply written ‘damaged items’ on the delivery note. Disappointed!”
