Good morning Richard, We're very sorry to hear about the damage received during delivery. I can see that you are already in communication with the customer service team regarding the replacements we're looking to send out. We have a high success rate on deliveries typically but we have noticed a few more issues with the FedEx courier network of late. We're currently looking at ways to negate that heavy handling without having to increase the product cost and waste packaging materials too much. Rubbish online sales Company. Ordered item with promise of 4-5 day delivery. 5 days later they contact me and demand extra payment for carriage even though website quoted "free delivery". Buy from Rubberduck Bathrooms Ltd at your own peril. There are better and more honourable suppliers out there. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! UNRELIABLE.

Good afternoon John, We're sorry you feel the service could be improved. We can see you ordered a £23 profile that is typically used along with wall panels. The description details that these items are only available for free delivery when purchasing along with the panels. If purchased independently, we will need to take a further payment. We even ask customers to call to avoid delay when purchasing profiles alone. This isn't misleading, it's clearly detailed on the page and is simply the cost to us from the manufacturer to dispatch small items using their transport network. When purchasing panels, we take the hit on that extra cost to help keep prices down for our valued customers. Needed to return shower panels, had to arrange courier myself and pay for this, staff not helpful when called to discuss this. Already had my money so obviously didn’t care, lack of after sales customer care. Check returns policy before you buy, wouldn’t buy from this company again

With regard to returns, we're happy to accept any unwanted item and we'll process a full refund when that item arrives in to us. We don't however arrange the return on your behalf for a number of reasons. This is typical for 99% of other bathroom retailers operating online. If we were to offer a collection service for unwanted items we would have to dramatically increase the price points of all products across our website. Given, we are a discount retailer that looks to offer the best prices possible to our valued customers, that is not an option. Very Poor I ordered a corner chair )to be tiled, came 6 weeks late, came incomplete, didn't fit. Wanted a full refund as it wasn't fit for purpose, I've had involve bank..night mare..steer clear

Good morning Kevan, We're very sorry to hear about the issues surrounding your order. Looking at the details, we can see the item ordered was indeed out of stock with the manufacturer at the time of ordering and we communicated that detail as soon as we were made aware. Rather than cancel and refund the order as we offered at the time, you asked that we wait for the item to come back in to stock and dispatch it as early as possible. On dispatching the item, it turned out you had purchased an item that wasn't suitable for your installation and needed to return it. Good morning Mr Steyn, We're sorry to hear you've not received your item, this review is the first we've heard of any issue. Looking at the order and tracking links provided, you placed your order with us on the morning of the 24th and your item left us on a DPD next day service at 12:33pm that same day. It would appear the DPD driver attempted delivery on the 25th but could not reach anyone at the property. The item was rerouted to a local pick up point and has been waiting for you to collect since then. Absolute waste of time !! Spoke to "Gary" on monday and placed my order on the promise it would be here on wednesday (5th april) Low and behold it didnt turn up !!! Now im out of pocket and appologising to my client ! My company do 5 bathrooms a month on average, and thought we had found a new supplier !! Waste of time and i shall be spreading the word.

Terrible company. Avoid. Spend your money somewhere else so you do not get ripped off. Patronising customer service. Sarcastic to say the least. Read some of the 1 star responses. Unprofessional. Will not except any responsibility for the damaged goods ! Customer service needs training. Overpriced. Returns and refunds…forget it as you have no consumer rights.

Terrible company Avoid !! Patronising and refuse to take any responsibility for defective shower panels. Blaming 3rd parties. Moaning they are a small family business. Who cares ! It is your responsibility for faulty goods you sell. Overpriced at that. All your responses to negative feedback are patronising. I will be taking this matter further. Also you remove negative feedback.

I only ordered a coat hook but it took several phone calls and quite a wait (it would appear to have been reordered during these exchanges) before the order was received. I am just glad that my order was not complex!!! Order from Rubberduck again? I don’t so.

Good morning Mary, We're sorry to hear about the delay in receiving your robe hook. The issue was simply that we were waiting on a stock order to come in to our warehouse. Typically these small, low value items are fast moving with little to no delay on dispatch. In this one instance, the manufacturer was waiting on several containers being cleared before they could restock suppliers like ourselves. We can see the stock order came in to our warehouse on Sat 11th Feb and your item was dispatched using a tracked next day service at 11:15am on Monday 13th. Again we're sorry for the delay. Hi not a good experience ,still awaiting a refund of over £500 for 2 shower panels that didn’t arrive at my property sent a second email but still no reply I’ll update with what rubber duck bathrooms do next

All items in one whole pack arrived dented and damaged and I can’t use them . This is overpriced rubbish and no care is tasked with your delivery I have since contacted them to try and sort the matter out when I get no response really poor stay well away. Do not waste your money.

Good morning Jensen, We're sorry to hear about the damage to your panels. We're a little confused here, your items were delivered seemingly without issue on the 9th of January. While you mentioned you'd contacted us about the matter, we've checked all inboxes this morning and we haven't received anything from yourself to suggest any problem took place. This review is the first we've heard. We apply extra protection when dispatching any item from our warehouse. Meaning items are protected by both the packaging supplied on arrival, as well as the packaging we apply before dispatching to customers. In the rare instance damage occurs in transit, all we ask is that customers check and report the matter to us within a reasonable timeframe. So we can dispatch free of charge replacements on a next day service. If we are not informed, as in this case, we can't file a claim with courier for the damage. I was told a product I ordered was in stock and would be delivered after Xmas it took another 3 weeks or so after ringing and emailing to get it delivereds

Good afternoon Asim, We're very sorry to hear you've had to wait for your item to be delivered. We think there may have been a misinterpretation on the messages passed however. When your order was placed on the 20th, we contacted you to say the item was currently out of stock but we were expecting them to arrive in to us early-mid January. You requested a further update on the delivery on the 29th and again we mentioned that your item was due to arrive in January and we'll dispatch them using a next day service as soon as they come in. On the 6th of January, you requested another update and we stated that the items were expected to arrive the following week. If this wasn't suitable we could offer another like for like alternative, however we received no reply. The taps come in to us as previously detailed and your order was dispatched using a DHL next day service on the 16th. Tracking links were provided and the item was delivered without issue on the 17th. Again, we're sorry for the delay but we have acted as quickly and efficiently as we could in this matter. Horrible customer service & experience. I bought a small item around £85 quid. However after receiving the item i no longer needed it. So I had paid £7 postage to return the item as rubbber duck bathrooms dont cover free returns. However after that they charged me £15 for unopened box by saying I wrote there return address on the package it arrived in Customer service agent Jarred is the most rudest person you will see and I dont understand how they can run a company with people like him in the front.

A large number of issues resulting in large delays on the job costing me the fitter a large expense. Multiple missing items from the order. Items on the order were incorrect and an item arrived in a battered box, wrapped in clear tape with the word DAMAGED written under the tape in pen. The item had clearly been damaged and returned previously yet was still sent out to me in such a broken state it was laughable. I estimate an entire day was spent on the phone and email to rectify all the issues as they became apparent as all the items showed up on multiple deliveries despite being arranged well in advance to ensure stock was available. Even with the delays items still didn't show up till after the job was/ should have been completed leaving an elderly lady with more inconvenience than should have been necessary. A simple sorry and goodbye was deemed sufficient compensation to both the customer and myself. Subsequently told another customer to order elsewhere. I cannot recommend customers to order from Rubberduck bathrooms with this kind of service.

Looking at the details, we can see that you had ordered a number of items from several manufacturers. Which is why they were sent across in 3 consignments. Most items were dispatched within timescales stated however, there was an issue with damage during delivery and a picking error on one item which caused a slight delay. We can only apologise for that delay. We can assure you, that returned/damaged items are not knowingly sent out from us or the manufacturers we connect to either. Totaly useless. Ordered with 24hr delivery. It arrived TWO WEEKS later. Was told this was due to postal strikes even though my post arrived each and every day and I checked with them each day. By the time it finally arrived the I had ordered the stuff on amazon and the job had been done for a week.

Good Morning Carl, We're sorry you didn't receive the small box of screws and washers next day as normal. As you can quite clearly see from the tracking links provided, your items were dispatched using Royal Mail on a next day service only a few hours after you placed your order with us. While we pay for a next day service, it's unfortunate that we can't force the poor posties off the picket line to deliver your £12 box of screws. This may come at an inconvenience to customers and us who are trying to deliver a good service to all our valued customers. That being said, we hope those that need to strike go on to earn a liveable wage and get what they require to provide for their families this Christmas and moving forward in the new year too. If we had been notified of an issue with delivery, we could have dispatched free of charge replacements to arrive on a next day service. We can see the order was placed with us late afternoon on the 22nd and we provided a dispatch confirmation with tracking links provided the very next day. The item was delivered on the 24th. We have heard nothing since then to suggest any issue occurred until reading your review. The items purchased are distributed direct by the manufacturer and if there has been an issue with delivery, we can only apologise as we were unaware. We'll be raising this matter with said manufacturer, as we rely on 3rd parties such as this to distribute the products we display. Hi Phil, We're sorry you feel the service could be improved. Looking across the details, we can see your order was placed late afternoon on the 28th Nov, during the Black Friday sales. We received an email on the 30th from the manufacturer to say the item had a longer lead time than normal as a result of the sale. Rather than simply cancel/refund your order and wash our hands of the matter, our team called you to let you know and then took the time to check available stock on like-for-like alternatives and then sent them over. The alternative item was delivered on the 1st of Dec. Despite the longer lead time given by the manufacturer initially you still received your items within the ETA provided at the point of purchase. This is not misleading, the intention here is to be helpful. We're thankful that most customers can see that our team acts as quickly and efficiently as we can in instances where things don't go to plan. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team
