“Confusion with stock of item leading to late dispatch of goods”

“Ordered on line and collected. Product ok in the end. After queuing at customer services eventually a chap was sent to collect our order, he turned up with a battered box. And a label for someone else on it. After complaint it was all changed but it was not the best and easiest purchase I have made.”

“The glass dishes were extremely well wrapped to ensure no breakages. However the delivery service by DHL was very disappointing. It was delivered to the doorstep of the wrong address where no one was home, despite the email to me stating I had personally accepted the package! A more reliable & honest delivery service would be an asset. I would give Roy’s 5 stars but delivery 0 stars, Thus the 3star rating.”

“The click and collect experience was less than satisfactory. Waiting at the service desk while announcements are made over the tannoy but no one from the department came. In the end someone from a different department sorted it for me.”

“Great price - the best on the net! Postage was average, took a few days but that’s fine. Item is scratched on the front & looks like it’s been a return. I’m keeping it as I haven’t got time for the hassle of reboxing, contacting store, organising a replacement & posting back - so I’m keeping it. I must add the scratch is no big problem - the teasmade has a light button that seems ridiculously hard to turn off & on…you have to stabilise the teasmade while you use it otherwise the force it requires pushes the machine across the table. I’ve read reviews & swan have design issues - they’re good looking but poorly thought out - which is no fault of the store.”

“The actual jacket is fine but it wasn’t the one I ordered. The image on the website was of a blue joules jacket with dogs on. The one that arrived is blue but has white stripes and large flowers. Review reflects the clear error on the website. Jacket kept as it was needed and on checking is no longer available to view on the site.”

“First assistant I asked where to collect my click and collect order (ground floor) was so lovely and helpful, and said i could collect my order from her when i had finished. I went up to first floor to browse and remembered that there was an item I had forgotten to get off the shelf on ground floor. I went to get said item. Went to pay and asked if I could collect my click and collect order. She rudely told me that you can't collect said orders on ground floor and had to go to girst floor. I'm disabled and on crutches with a thumb and wrist support on. This was unfair! I did make a complaint to the lovely assistant on first floor. She couldn't have been more helpful. I have been coming to Roy's of Wroxham for over 20 years whilst on holiday, but am now a local and never received any horrible experiences before. This lady that gave poor customer service has made me think twice about asking any member of staff for help.”

“Outdoor wall clock received with bent casing where two halves close together. Obviously had not been inspected in box prior to dispatch. As case metal is soft, it was easy enough to knock it back into shape and tape over the remaining gap to try and prevent water ingress, however. Order was not quickly despatched, but wasn't unduly slow either.”

“Hi I ordered a 10ft pool for my sons birthday set it up today as he was meant to be having a pool party but the white rim has a hole in it somewhere as it keeps going down once pumped up now I have 1 very upset birthday boy”

“Having ordered a Water butt stand on line I did expect it to have been ready to pick up the next day, but it wasn’t ready and had to wait about 20 mins for staff to fetch it. I will not order on click and collect again. No time saving!”

“Love this windspinner, but the bearings are very lose and I feel it wont last very long. Had one before which was quite solid, but this one very wobbly. Would have returned it, but too much hassle. Time will tell. 🤔”

“I ordered 2 items so that there was only one postage to pay. After I’d placed the order got an email to say the butter dish was out of stock. So if I was to order it against from you I’d like free postage”

“I was disappointed that there was a scratch on the light although it was brand new. I hope it wasn't a demo one that you boxed up! Also the base needed to be pushed in as it was out of alignment. It hadn't been fitted properly. Otherwise happy with light. Also no postage and packing was a bonus.”
