We've generally been happy with the new garage door we had fitted. The process for ordering and having our garage door fitted was smooth and the door looks really good. The fitters did a tidy job. We have had to have several visits in the past 18 months to have issues resolved though. In one case, the whole door/curtain had to be replaced because of damage caused when one of the plastic mounts broke off and damaged the door. Rollerdor were a little slow to come back to us with dates for replacement, but it was eventually done.

Very happy with initial service, but I believe the door curtain was not long enough when fitted, as the fitters had trouble with it and said it really needed another section added. It is now beginning to become noisy and showing signs of wear

I contacted rolldor as I am on my third remote key the person I spoke to asked me to send the faulty remotes to them and they would replace them free of charge this time waited and waited but nothing came contacted rollerdor again and the girl on the phone said they had no record of receiving any remotes from me so not happy with thier service unless you pay them.

My Rollerdor now does the job I need it to do. Rollerdor provided good on-site support that, after a number of visits, resolved the problems we had with closing the door. There were significant delays in securing the follow up visits.

We were pleased with our new garage door at first but has broken several times which is a pain always send someone out to repair it but at a cost to us of £75.00 pounds each time

The door works well been installed now for about 3 years but have only just been asked to write a review. It gave me the extra headroom I needed on the entrance as the door rolls up behind the brickwork. The door slats were thinner (not as strong as I expected) not that this has caused an issue and I didn't really know what to expect. More could be done on installation to make the removal of the old door look better even if you had to pay a little bit extra I think that there may have been something in the T&Cs about not making good but I think more should have been done. The installers are a local company sub contracted. Had 2 problems with the door, first time a lot of banging when going up and down - this was fixed under warranty. The second time the clamps that hold the door to the roller all came off the door so it wouldn't go up, this happened very soon after the door stopped going fully up and wasn't covered by warranty as it had expired (it wasn't clear on the sales invoice the period of the warranty). Spare straps were available from the website and it was a quick DIY job to repair I added an additional strap to the door as the top of the door was damaged where they joined on (not a great fitting system) I can only guess that due to the door not going fully up it didnt know where to stop coming down. Dispatch of spares was quick. Not sure how sure the door would be compared to a normal up and over garage door for security. Would I have another one - probably.

Excellent installation of the garage door, but feel a bit let down on external override lock plate as it was All deformed out of shape, when ask for a replacement they wanted to charge me for one

I feel the door should require a sensor stop as standard. I didn’t realise the door would continue to attempt to close if even a small object was left in the way. I appreciate that the sensor is a sellable add on but as a consumer I’m surprised that the version I have is considered safe. On two occasions a small object has caused the doors motor to continue to close and eventually pull the grips off the track at the top causing some damage. This is a fault in the regs rather than the door. All doors should need a sensor in my opinion and therefore the cheaper version is redundant So as a consumer..buy the sensor basically. As the seller… consider the non sensor being practical

We are actually having a problem to set up the operation of the door, by you not including installation instructions in hard copy, trying to fault find in your online instructions is no easy. We are going to have to print off the full installation instructions to see where we might have gone wrong. Not happy at present

I have given a 3 star for the product not the company, Rollerdor we're very helpful sorting out our troublesome door which is now fixed but still very noisy On hindsight I should have investigated some similar products . Once again I have to say that Rollerdor customer service is excellent, maybe I have been unlucky with the product

Process easy fast and efficient Door fitted, works well and looks good Would have got 5 stars if they had fitted UPVC to cover the wood infill and the edge of wall opening which Which I had to do

Quality not as good as expected. Plastic attachments, connecting the curtain to roller, work loose. One came completely off mine and bent the top slat. Rollerdor did not cover under warranty but did send out a new connector FOC. Also, the metal box is too thin, causing it to not remain straight and flaps in the wind, making contact with the curtain. I complained about this only to be offered strengthening plates at extra cost. My opinion the box needs an extra fold in manufacturing for rigidity.

So far so good with mine, service has been excellent, arrived when they said they would. Shame the same can't be said for my Mother's garage, 3 years old now, thankfully 5 year guarantee, 3 callouts as something keeps failing after each visit, hoping they look at it properly on the third visit, as not idea having to wait 2 weeks each time it fails, whilst it's great they come out, the timelines are very inconvenient as in the last 2 months the garage door has been out of use for 6 weeks or more, not ideal for a 78 year old.

Purchased 29th March had a small fault , the engineer came out and adjusted it causing a catastrophic malfunction, since then they have been out and assured me that a clanking stuttering door is “normal” Very disappointed that they havnt got to the bottom of the problem other wise the door was installed very well On the whole I am a very disappointed customer

had the door for about 2and half years , although been happy with it , I have had to have a new bearing on the opposite side to the motor . As it only had 2yr warranty I had to pay around £160 or more . can't quite remember but thought it would last longer than it did ,so expecting the same problem in another couple of years time.

The door is great but the instructions may as well been written in Klingon for all the use they were. They use various different parts for each of the components (roller, motor, control unit etc) and there are 3 or 4 options for each. So they send a instructions for each and your job is to figure out what on earth is going on. One particular set of instructions contained none of the components used on my door. I had to figure it out using YouTube and making educated guesses. Door has worked fine since I installed it though.

We’ve had our door over four years and it has been basically a good part of a bigger project. All the staff have been exceedingly helpful when we’ve had issues, including sending through excellent technical information to help us through. However, we’ve been disappointed about regular breakages to the straps which attach the door itself to the roller, often causing the safety brake to trip out (a 2 man job on ladders to fix) and causing some cosmetic damage to the door itself. I’m getting tolerably proficient at getting things working again, but would rather not have the issues in the first place.

I ordered a black door for my own private garden. Installation team were amazing, salesperson less so. I was promised a premium, alarmed door and the product is good but I don’t see an alarm system anywhere. Range is good, very reliable and good build quality. Although I don’t know why the main junction box only comes in light grey
