“Would be better if you did not have to hold down the remote while closing the door, just one touch the same as opening would be much better”

“Does everything as advertised. Good installation service and excellent fit and insulation standard. Recommended. Only minor niggle is rather slow opening. Closing is faster.”

“I have had the door now for a couple of years. And after a year and a halve the "clips" on the door broke. I then called to have the door repaired, and the service was good and quick.”

“Good communication maintained during sale and fitting processes. Price reasonable and the needed extras added at acceptable cost. Cost accounting seems somewhat eccentric and led to Rollerdor accounts staff invoicing our £100 deposit (a credit) as a debit! Fitting was carried out in a competent manner, but there will be more "making good" than envisaged at outset.”

“I'm quite happy with this door, everything arrived as it should, exactly as ordered. There was a small problem with installation that was quickly rectified over email and it's worked perfectly ever since.”

“Great product no problem with rolller door but.... Not great fitter. Did poor mastic job around door. When I called Roller door he phoned and said he would remove the mastic and do it again. He didn’t and just went over the top with more mastic on the rubbish part.”

“Nice looking door and very well priced . I had problems because mine is a very wide door and very heavy to install - definitely not the 2 man job described, The weight of the length of door (4.7m) causes some bending of the central axle and I have had some connectors breaking and at the ends one support clip keeps popping off due to the strain it is under. Overall a good door but don't think I would recommend it for very wide doors like mine”

“We moved into our new house a year ago and "inherited" a Rollerdor double garage door. It looks great and operates smoothly and takes up no space in the garage when opened. It has failed once however Rollerdor were able to talk me through the method of sorting things out over the phone with a successful resolution”

“The door itself is excellent. The instruction on putting the door up is OK but setting up the wiring instructions is poor. To much irrelevant stuff and no flow diagram. Why do you not say that the controllers come ready set up?”

“Garage door works flawlessly, makes a real difference to the look of the house and makes the garage a lot more secure. Recently we had a problem with one of the remote key fobs. We contacted Customer services and a replacement was sent out promptly, really happy with the service we received.”

“The door itself is pretty well made and it looks fabulous now it's in place. The instructions provided for self-install seem purposefully vague and leave several important steps out, but if you can work out how to get it working it's a nice product at a decent price.”

“Good way to save money by self installing this type of roller door. Definitely needs two persons to install the RD55 as it’s difficult to lift into place. Generally seems to be well built and works well. I think the remotes could be better, they seem a bit flimsy and I presume are just generic products from the Far East. They are not too dear to replace however.. Some of the instructions could do with being updated as there are some errors, such as the adjusters being stated back to front, although these did not prevent the install in my case. I think that there could be some improvements I’d make such as marking the rails better so that it is clear which side to drill. Although it states there is a mark on them in the instructions I couldn’t find one. I think the rubber strip at the bottom could be better, but it’s adequate and as mentioned the remotes could be better. Overall the door is good value for money and looks good when fitted....certainly a big improvement to my old door and a lot more convenient to use.”
