“This is a very light but well made bag. Unfortunately, not enough pockets and things just get lost in the bottom of the bag.”

“I purchased gamblers trousers for my trip to Australia and they were very comfortable. However, upon my return I went on a spring amble and encountered a few freshly growing shrubbery which, although being extremely careful, completely snagged and ruined the trousers. I would say, therefore, that these trousers are not "walking trousers" but "sitting having coffee trousers" very dissatisfied with the thin material. Will not be buying again. Total waste of money.”

“Very disappointed with the women’s knickers. . Nowhere near as light and comfortable or quick drying as the ones I have previously purchased. I should have returned them. Bring back the old design in neutral, white or black.”

“I've been a regular shopper at Rohan, but always from my local store as I do find sizes & fit vary product to product. I was very sad to see my local store closed at the end of 2025 (Winchester) when I went in to buy some repeat items. I've just bought some underwear online (repeat purchase so know the size) - but I now can't have it delivered to my local store, so have to pay postage too!! So, unless I am passing a Rohan elsewhere in the country I will not shop at Rohan anymore.”

“I have bought many pairs of Amblers over recent years in various sizes and loved wearing them all year round. The new design this year are of terrible quality. The material is completely different and has pulled threads after one wear just out shopping, let alone walking the dogs. Extremely disappointed! Needless to say I won’t be buying them again.”

“+I was so pleased to find you offering merino knitwear again as I have 2 cardigans (810067818) which I have worn for years and they are still perfect. However, I am very disappointed with my recent purchase of a green merino Edendale cardigan which bobbled from the first day I wore it and gets worse. I was hoping for the same quality and was prepared to pay what seemed a high price on that expectation. I've been a Rohan customer for many years and this is the first time I have been let down.”

“I am a long standing customer and like both the style and the practicality of Rohan clothing but the latest change to men's shirt breast pockets means that until it changes I will not be buying them. One of Rohan's USPs are the pockets but someone has decided to reduce the size of the breast pockets. I have just taken delivery of a second shirt with this problem. This means that I can no longer fit a wallet into them and so the shirts are no longer functional for me! I don't know if this is to save money, by reducing the fabric required or is a fashion idea but either way you have lost at least one customer.”

“I bought a Kendal Coat in October and had trouble with the zip, so I returned it to the Bath shop and was told, there was nothing wrong with the Zip, it was just a technic to doing it up. So I took it home, and tried again, I still had problems, and had to ask my wife for assistance. She is of the same opinion, there is a fundamental problem with the zip. I have only worn this coat a handful of times because I am not confident that the zip won't let me down”

“I tried to purchase size 38R padded walking trousers. I already bought two different 38R types of trousers which fit well. When they arrived as size 38R they were over a size and a half too narrow. Delivery and return ok but sizes should be consistent.Disappointing”

“For Many many years Rohan delivery was by DPD and excellent.... Now goes through Amazon .... Terrible. Several times item was "out for delivery". Several times it wasnt.”

“Still battling with the last few expedition shirts , long and short sleeved. Buttons impossibly hard to get through buttonholes. Will be looking elsewhere for my quick wash and dry active shirts in future.”

“I purchased a bag from Stratford on Avon Rohan on 2nd July for £55 was told I could return to any Rohan shop, apparently not!!! The bag is not Rohan Brand so has to be returned to the shop or customer services. I returned on 6th was told the bag had to be sent on to store for them to call to refund me it couldn’t be done at head office.Today 17th no call no refund!! I called the store was told they had the bag but head office would do the refund?? Asked for call back from HO. why if they were refunding couldn’t they have paid me when they received the bag last Friday, operative said she didn’t know. This is not the level of service I expect to receive from Rohan, over the years my husband and I have bought all our outdoor gear from this shop, I bought a top at the same time as the bag, but I am afraid this experience means never again.”

“Usually excellent.This purchase delivered to wrong address. Unable to recover goods.Partly my fault as wrong shipping address given but rohan have my correct address. No leeway or sign of compensation although I have been with Rohan for many years. Disappointed. M”
