“Purchased for a friend overseas. They have seen it yet. Disappointed by the fact you charge for postage, most companies offer free postage over a certain amount, why can’t Rohan?”

“My wife and I have been using Rohan clothing for over forty years - we cannot wear it out such is the quality. Our travel these days is somewhat less and can I part with the old Rohan clothes…no, A favourite is my ‘Wild Vest’’, practical and warm.”

“The items were fine, but I had to pay import duty and VAT in Cyprus before the items could be delivered, (presumably having already paid in the UK) This is the first time this has happened. Previous orders post-Brexit were fine, but it meant the items became very expensive, so I probably will look for alternatives within the EU.”

“I’m not that impressed that you only notify me that there are sale and price reductions the day after a I place an order. What’s more the last order I put in I activated 15% off and I had free postage. When I put in the code for free postage it cancelled my discount. I only spotted this after my confirmation had come through so I lost my £20 approx discount. Not happy”

“I have returned my purchase - didn't fit . Disappointed with the colour and general finish. ( Trim at neck / shoulder not flat. ) Arrived over - creased - they didn't fall out when garment hung up. Garments bought previously in store very much better.”

“Not the same as previously-the zip pocket in the RH pocket is very small and horizontal unlike the old one which would easily take a phone - nice and secure. The material is different, silky so swishes when walking, the short has never been short enough for me, I've been turning Rohan trousers up for 46 years! I'm 5'5"". I wish you'd bring back the old winter jeans, I'm still wearing them but, they do, eventually, wear out! Sizing varies too and local store closed so can't try on before purchase.”

“The gamblers are a good substitute for the GOA trousers I bought before. Sadly my last pair of the six I bought when they were discontinued together with my remaining four GOA tops are the best of Rohan . Now too much choice of overpriced styles too similar to competitors. Go back to basics of good value!”

“I had my trousers delivered to my local Rohan store and it took just over a week for them to arrive, having received an email in apology for the delay due to the sale demand. The 2 pairs of trousers I'd ordered were wrapped in individual, thick plastic bags and then both bags were wrapped in a third thick plastic bag. The trousers themselves are 100% plastic polyester (I should have checked before ordering) so I imagine the wrapping and the trousers will be floating around the oceans for decades after I've gone. The trousers fit quite nicely though.”

“The shirts I bought fit nicely as I got a bigger size for extra movement. The material on one shirt looked like a job lot that you seem to make all your shirts in ie tartan. I bought it because I needed another shirt, but I would have preferred a plain colour. The really annoying thing is just after a bought two shirts they were reduced again by another 10%!!’ That’s £14 less I could have paid. Not at all happy with that 😠! Put off buying from you again.”

“Had to return an item which was poorly advertised. The refund was simlly the cost of the item . It did not include postage on purchase or postage on return. Communication was minimal, perfunctory and uninterested. Very disappointed.”

“Received a pair of trousers and a boundary top. Trousers excellent, returned top which was too big. Still awaiting communication about the top and the refund. Rohan took delivery of the top on January 27th. In store shopping far superior experience than online.”

“I have bought these winter trousers for the last 2 years and they have been wonderful especially in the recent icy weather. Very cosy and perfect fit. However, the pair this year are tight around the knees so not so comfortable”

“I recently bought a Rohan microgrid fleece jacket in slate grey, size small. I have previously bought 3 others in the past, but I have a number of concerns with the sizing/design of the present garment. The sleeves are way too long - I will have to have them shortened (I had to have that done with the last one too). I had hoped this issue would have been identified by your design team - sleeves do not need to be 2 inches longer than normal with the loop hole for a thumb being totally unnecessary. The jacket is too long too, and now appears even longer than before…! I really like the original cut of the jacket, but it now is being designed too large in the two areas mentioned I like the newer fabric and colour and the new zips. Could you please look into this issue as I am a loyal customer from the mid 1980’s and wish to continue as such but find some problems hard to comprehend….”

“Having purchased many half zip micro fleece jumpers over the years, my latest purchase is a disappointment. Rather than having a distinctive feel, my latest purchase feels like an ordinary “polartec” style fleece.”
