As a result of shoddy goods and shoddy customer service I was given a £20 voucher "as a gesture of goodwill. " This obviously had an expiry date so having lost all faith in Rohan it was spent on a "cheap " neck warmer to avoid putting anymore money into Rohan's pockets. Rohan's products have become inferior and overpriced, I will not be buying again.

I visited my local Rohan Store ( Stony Stratford)this morning and was interesting in trying on a pair of trousers (£80.00) They didn’t have my size in stock (16) but made no effort to offer to get them in for me. This is not the first time that this has happened in this store. They are happy to get them if you pay up front but surely it’s good retail practice to try to keep the customer coming back. I have at least 10 pairs of Rohan trousers so was a loyal customer ( and local to the store) but if that’s the level of customer service they offer I might take my custom elsewhere.

The one star is to express my disappointment that Rohan no longer sell men's briefs without a fly opening. For some 20 years Rohan has been my 'go to' shop for casual, active and holiday clothes including underwear. Along with many older men, particularly those like me who have had prostate surgery, I now need to wear a pad inside my underwear. Rohan briefs (without a fly opening) had been perfect; a fly opening is not only redundant but also I find doesn't hold the pad in position and can be uncomfortable. Given the publicity around King Charles's prostate surgery and with TENA (a pad manufacturer) advertising their 'mens' lines on TV during this year's Six Nations rugby tournament there is thankfully greater awareness about men's pads.. I would urge Rohan to reinstate at least one line of briefs without a fly opening - and my vote would be for the ''cool silver briefs'.

I cannot select a product I like when the screen is partially obscured by the flashing pop up pictures on your attempt to get me to sign up for emails. This is a very tacky feature not fitting for a website selling quality products

My package was delivered by DPD to a random address a quarter of a mile away (no explanation was offered for this!) and after calling Rohan I tried unsuccessfully on four occasions to retrieve the package from the wrong address. Rohan then agreed to send a replacement but then the original package reappeared via DPD and my attempts to get Rohan to stop the replacement failed so I then had two packages delivered. Given what had happened before I cancelled my planned trip out for the second (now unwanted) delivery fearing more delivery problems if I wasn't in! Rohan understandably wanted the replacement one back, so after numerous emails, I had further hassle associated with posting these back to Rohan. Lots of apologies from Rohan but other than a refund of the original postage cost no real recognition that I had experienced endless hassle through no fault of my own. Not impressed and don't think I will order online again!

We own many Rohan items and have generally been satisfied. However our new Insect Shield trousers, purchased from our local store, didn’t adequately protect us from insects/mosquitos- got bitten after just a couple of hours out wearing them. Very disappointing as product quality is usually so good. No offer of exchange or refund from Rohan customer services, just the comment that they were sorry to hear we were disappointed.

Oboz Katabatic Low B Dry: advertised as waterproof. My shoes were categorically not waterproof. I had a wet sock after a short walk through damp grass. This was the first time these shoes had been outdoors. Staggering failure for a £150 product.

Their products are of very high quality. It's a pity the IT skills of their web designer are so far below that. So many bugs in the ordering system. Don't try to pay with Paypal as you will waste a whole day of your life.

Really bad fit for me (though I do have difficulty with finding an appropriate sandal strap fitting) so had to return them. As I didn’t actually experience wearing them, I can’t really comment on how they might perform.

An extremely rude shop assistant in the Cambridge store became aggressive and defensive when I pointed out that the red label on an item which claimed 25% discount was false, since the discounted price was only 12% off the original price. This is false advertising. She proceeded to raise her voice and snatched the item away. The store looks messy. This is not great service at all and certainly not expected. In a climate of austerity, Rohan should be less complacent, as well as get their false price claims removed.

Wonderful clothes - Woeful staff 29 July 2023 11:00 I’ve just had an experience in Rohan Cambridge which I never expected. I was looking for Bag Shorts in the sale and noticed that some shorts with a 25% off label were priced at £57, reduced from £65. This is a reduction of around 12%. I took these to one of the female assistants who shall remain nameless (more on this later) and pointed out the error. She became quite defensive saying ‘oh, that’s human error. We get a lot of that.’ She confirmed the price at £57. I asked for another size and if they had other colours and the gentleman assistant was quite helpful in searching the stockroom for my size etc. My partner arrived who, in her professional role, knows a thing or two about false advertising. We both advised the staff to remove the 25% off labels to which we got no effective reply. When we looked to see how the label might come off, the shorts were snatched from us and the unnamed assistant (more on this coming soon) said ‘well that has crossed the boundary’ followed by further words implying we were breaking the law or at least unworthy customers. We were both quite shocked at the personal insults, dismissive attitude and snatching of goods. We left the shop without purchasing anything. After discussion we decided that we would complain about the unnamed assistant, and I went back in to ask her name. She started ranting about feeling uncomfortable and us oppressing her and refused to give her name. When I explained why I wanted her name the other, much younger, female assistant joined in and they ganged up on me, making it very clear I had no right to ask for a name. I pointed out I could simply take a photograph of the (still unnamed) assistant and then all hell broke loose, and this time I was very definitely told I was breaking the law. We left - but I do have the photo. As we left, the unnamed assistant said ‘I had a feeling about you from the moment you walked in’. In these days of social media, such abysmal customer service should not exist, and Rohan needs to address it.

I've tried to post a one star review using ordinary language directly related to walking specific clothing which they refuse to publish and only admit this when asked but don't explain. Customers have a right to post disappointment, otherwise what is the point of having a review?

An update to a previous one star experience I placed here in the last week. My parcel should have been delivered on 4th March but DPD never received it. I was promised a delivery by Rohan on Tuesday - nothing. DPD still hadn’t received it. Contacted Rohan for a reimbursement which I got and a return to consigner marker. THEN on 11th March DPD received the parcel at Hinckley and transferred it overnight to Preston. 13th March DPD told me it might already be on a van for delivery to me. We agreed that DPD would try to intercept it but if it did get to me I’d drop it off at Rohan, Keswick, when I visit the market on Thursday. Looking at DPD they’ve managed to pull the parcel off delivery. Rohan’s on time deliveries and accurate orders is a myth and woefully bad customer service. I’ve since been to Regatta to get new hiking trousers to tide me over. I am now a lost customer to Rohan and won’t touch their products again. Back to Rab via Cotswold outdoor, Keswick this Thursday.

Already spoken to customer service. On line order last Thursday paying extra for a Saturday delivery. It didn’t happen. DPD not received the parcel. CS on Monday told me the delivery would be today- Tuesday. Still no delivery and DPD at 1pm still hadn’t received the parcel to be able to deliver. Cancelled the order even when I was offered the goods free of charge including a full refund. I’ve spent at least a £1000 in the last twelve months online and in the Keswick store. No more. I hate bad customer service. Two chances and your out. Back to Rab.

Be warned, I have a Rohan Arran jacket in which the zip was always stiff to join up and take apart. I contacted customer services, returned the jacket but was told they couldn't replace the zip in-house as they don’t have the equipment for it. Plus, as it was a waterproof repair it was outside their guarantee, so I would have to pay for it. I have asked for the jacket back and will have it repaired locally.

i took delivery of a journey jacket and trousers today , what on earth has happened to rohan sizing and quality . the jacket was originally £260 but £100 in the sale , to only have the jacket half lined it looks so cheap , all bells and whistles for hidden pockets but come on rohan standards slipping , i could get a top quality suit fully lined for £260 in cheshire oaks , the trousers were 32reg but as slight a build am i there was no way these trousers were going to fit around my waiste , to tight by a mile , who on earth checks the sizing on rohan goods these days. these are not the first products with poor sizing in recent times and judging by other reviews i am not on my own saying this . i have bought rohan for over 20 years and have noticed a steady decline in rohan quality. get your act together rohan , if your going to increase your prices atleast improve quality , you were brilliant in the 90s and 00s .

I am unable to send an email to the UK to notify them I did not get my order. I do not have ability to contact them by phone. They did not verify my residential address before shipping and the post office box in town refused it. DHL said they handed it over to a third party to deliver but could not tell me who the company is. The post office said it was not them. UPS said it was not them.

Poorly designed and fitting trousers. Returned them and heard nothing more. A cool £95 down the drain. Learned my lesson - never again!
