“It’s not what it used to be, service is excellent but the garments are not as good. I started buying in 1979 and have bought well over a hundred items. Pockets used to be plentiful, zipped and large enough to take a phone. Not now. Fleeces used to be really warm. Trouser legs had some room in them not narrow drainpipes. From the reviews I can see I’m not alone but nothing is done, every reiteration is worse. Really sad, a great brand not what it was. Be wonderful to see some old styles brought back in all their glory!”

“Inconsistency of sizes with regards to men's trousers, especially the dry frontier versus dry requisite. A good fit in the former does not equate to a fit in the latter. Although Rohan refunded the cost of trousers they were coy about refunding the shipping cost, only after I complained was a full refund forthcoming.”

“I bought this style coat 6 years ago and I was looking to replace like with like. The older coat was more shaped and the material was nicer. So sadly I returned the coat as it made me feel like the Mitchelin Man. However, the customer service I received was amazing.”

“I bought the item on sale but wished to change it for a smaller pair - took it back to shop but the sale was over and the new stock was of a different colourway so no swap - I couldve got a refund but now nothings on the sale so was advised to wait til Jan when sale is on. I think I'll just make do with keeping the item for now.”

“Disappointed when a friend of mine tried to return a new ladies jacket in Glasgow. She had it for 1 month unused. The store Manager addressed her in a disturbing manner, making her feel uncomfortable and intimidated in front of customers. His manner was appalling and has made me take the decision not to use that store ever again. My friend suffers from accute anxiety and was unaware of the 14 day return policy and so was unable to make a return. I feel deeply let down as I had recommended Rohan to her.”

“I purchase Rohan products on the understanding that they will perform as described. However, although I recognise the practicality of the products there is a problem for me in longevity or sustainability. During bad weather I wear the garments, jackets and trousers daily and cover about 8 miles a day with the dogs. I once made a suggestion about reinforcing the gusset area as it wears quickly but so far no change.”

“Like many others, we have purchased Rohan clothing for many years and have never been disappointed. However, the latest range of waterproof coats did disappoint; everything was perfect until we pulled up the hood; at that point the seam where the hood meets the body of the coat was strained and the hood was then pulling down on the top of the head. This was such a shame and prevented us from buying. Please don't skimp on the hood and check the design so that when the hood is used it doesn't distort how the body of the coat sits on the shoulders.”
