“I purchase Rohan products on the understanding that they will perform as described. However, although I recognise the practicality of the products there is a problem for me in longevity or sustainability. During bad weather I wear the garments, jackets and trousers daily and cover about 8 miles a day with the dogs. I once made a suggestion about reinforcing the gusset area as it wears quickly but so far no change.”

“Like many others, we have purchased Rohan clothing for many years and have never been disappointed. However, the latest range of waterproof coats did disappoint; everything was perfect until we pulled up the hood; at that point the seam where the hood meets the body of the coat was strained and the hood was then pulling down on the top of the head. This was such a shame and prevented us from buying. Please don't skimp on the hood and check the design so that when the hood is used it doesn't distort how the body of the coat sits on the shoulders.”

“Rohan goods are of high quality but their delivery information is not. I was promised, and paid for, next day delivery. This did not happen as the courier service they use does not do next day delivery to my mainland UK location. Rohan professed not to know this. They should be fully aware of these limitations imposed by their couriers before offering a blanket next day delivery and put this information on their website. Alternately they could use Royal Mail who offer a before 1pm next day delivery anywhere in the UK.”

“I was very disappointed with my last purchase of a long sleeved Shoreline top for my wife. She has been buying this item for a number of years and has been quite happy with the quality and sizing. However my latest purchase online was totally unacceptable. My wife has always taken a medium size but having ordered that size again she found it too small. She took it back to the Keswick store and was told that the sizes had changed and to try a large size, which fit. Changing sizes without warning is not acceptable for customers ordering online. She had the inconvenience of returning it to Keswick and trying a larger size to make sure it fit correctly. My wife is still the same build as she has always been.”

“Generally excellent products, but be careful of size. I am normally a medium, but I have found that some products are rather generous, and in particular may have long sleeves. Better to try on in shop where possible.”

“I purchased a woman's jacket in the Rohan Shop when on holiday in Dunster a few weeks ago. The shop hadn't got my size but it was available in one of the company's stores so the shop assistant ordered it for delivery to my home address. I was naturally delighted the jacket looked very good on, however what made me extremely disappointed was the way it had been packaged. It was folded up into an extremely small parcel so small that when I unwrapped it the jacket was so creased that even an iron on the correct temperature couldn't remove all the creases at all. Now if I hadn't purchased the item in a sale I would have most certainly returned the item as it was I did get it at sale price so I decided to wash the jacket in the hope that it would get rid of all the creases. I'm now waiting for the jacket to dry so I can iron it so fingers crossed. I do feel that for a company like Rohan more care should have been taken packing the jacket, when I've ordered from other fashion outlets the clothing has been carefully packed in order to retain the look of the item when opened . Rohan should do the same I will be reluctant in the future to order online from the company again.”

“ve only just resurrected. I still buy bags but a appalled at the lack of colour choice. All in all Rohan seemed to have lost their way and now put profit before their customers. A great pity,”

“I have been a Rohan customer for many years. In the main, I enjoy wearing their functional, well-designed clothes. We all recognise the experience of buying clothes that seem fine initially, but something intangible spoils the experience of wearing them and, after a couple of outings, the item is relegated to a dark shelf in the cupboard. Thankfully, Rohan's offerings fall into this group less and less, after a disappointing patch 5 years ago. However, costs are escalating and value-for-money decreasing. Rohan sales can still be exasperating. A desirable item is spotted in the front page, only to discover that it's available only in XXS or XXXXXL. The ability to search on size has improved this.”

“The quality of some of the products, particularly the mens shirts i purchase is nowhere near the quality of the shirts i purchased years ago. I still have shirts and coats purchased 30 years ago which have worn well. Recent purchases on at least 5 shirts,the collars and cuffs are worn and frayed. Customer services were not interested in my comments. Not very good is it ? Keith Pollard (customer for over 30 years)”

“I am very pleased with your service and in the past have had many pairs of trousers from you but I don't seem to be able to find any to fit now. y all time favourites were Thai Pants in a checkered material. I have two pairs which come out every summer.”

“I love Rohan clothes and quality. However I am finding sizing more difficult for anything to fit me well ( more than I used to - as designs have changed over the years). I am a 5 ft 7 inch height woman in my 50's size 8 clothing. Whilst the tops are usually fine, trousers/shorts/dresses simply don't fit ( either come up too short in the gusset or are not long enough) - I think the size 8 is modelled on a much shorter woman ( and is very 'wide' in waist size - so I have had to send back the last 2 items) Really wanting your clothes to fit me!!”

“Recently I have been disappointed with Rohan items especially the trousers. Every pair of stretch bags ( I have 3 pairs)I have purchased have required re stitching in the seat area. I am satisfied I have purchased the correct size. I am afraid I have now purchased from Revolution Race and Mountain Equipment instead.”

“Rohan clothes are expensive. Some are good. Some are not. I returned a coat and was given a voucher as it had been worn. The customer service girls were lovely and so so helpful. However I have tried to buy more clothes but just cant find the correct ones for me. They are sometimes quite different to how they are advertised. So I now have to send back the ones I ordered online. I now feel obligated to buy "just something" to use up my voucher. However I will take my time and get something I really like. Not sure if this review makes sense so dont put it on your website. Customer service are wonderful. Just products arent quite what they say on the tin. Sorry not to be more positive. Kate”

“I like Rohan clothing as it is well designed and reasonable stylish but its over-priced and I would never buy it at full price. I only ever but their sale stuff which then represents good value for my hard earned cash.”

“I brought these lightweight Capri pants for cycling and hiking in the summer . They do the job but unfortunately there is only one pocket at the back which is difficult to access , and uncomfortable if anything is in it and you are cycling. A pocket at the front or on the thigh would be more comfortable and easier to access even if it’s just the mandatory face mask. They do dry quickly so have used them when paddle boarding. I have brought a lot of Rohan clothing and this is the only article that I have been a bit disappointed with.”
