“Recently I have been disappointed with Rohan items especially the trousers. Every pair of stretch bags ( I have 3 pairs)I have purchased have required re stitching in the seat area. I am satisfied I have purchased the correct size. I am afraid I have now purchased from Revolution Race and Mountain Equipment instead.”

“Rohan clothes are expensive. Some are good. Some are not. I returned a coat and was given a voucher as it had been worn. The customer service girls were lovely and so so helpful. However I have tried to buy more clothes but just cant find the correct ones for me. They are sometimes quite different to how they are advertised. So I now have to send back the ones I ordered online. I now feel obligated to buy "just something" to use up my voucher. However I will take my time and get something I really like. Not sure if this review makes sense so dont put it on your website. Customer service are wonderful. Just products arent quite what they say on the tin. Sorry not to be more positive. Kate”

“I brought these lightweight Capri pants for cycling and hiking in the summer . They do the job but unfortunately there is only one pocket at the back which is difficult to access , and uncomfortable if anything is in it and you are cycling. A pocket at the front or on the thigh would be more comfortable and easier to access even if it’s just the mandatory face mask. They do dry quickly so have used them when paddle boarding. I have brought a lot of Rohan clothing and this is the only article that I have been a bit disappointed with.”

“I would like to have given a 5* review however the sizing of these trousers were on the large size. Even the shop assistant commented that she regretted buying this size as they were too baggy. I tried on a pair of roamers in a size smaller to compare and found they were a much better fit. Following her advice I decided not to keep the dry roamers so lost out on the discount and am still searching for a good pair of waterproof trousers that fit!!”

“I purchased a pair of sandals from the web site and asked if I did not like them that I could return them to the shop at Kiswick and get a refund, which would include the postage, and the answer was yes. I return the sandals to the shop and was advised that they did not do refunds they would have to send them back which would take 5 to 6 working days. When I explained what I was told the supervisor rang a number and verified the card details and refunded the price for the sandals but not the postage, which is what was promised. I am disappointed in this and will not be using your shop or web site again.”

“Ordered 2 items in the sale. The item despatched from the warehouse was fine and promptly delivered. The other item came from a shop and arrived separately. It was the wrong item and the wrong size - I suspect some other customer had a similar problem. The prepaid return sticker was very useful but I live 4 miles from my nearest post office so a bit inconvenient. I spoke to Rohan customer service and they organised the delivery of the correct item which arrived 2 days later.”

“Rohan have still not managed to implement quality control on sizes. I have just purchased three long sleeve shirts two fit on the forearm and one is too tight. Additionally i wear 40” waist for escapers but need 42” for maroc trousers. Please Rohan get some control over manufacturing”

“I have bought Rohan clothing for more than 20 years. Recently the cost has increased and the quality has declined. Tee Shirts are more bobbly and shorter. Shorts have loose threads and are poorer quality with crappy zips. Polo's are thinner and more prone to snagging. I could go on but I used to regard Rohan as my buy once and forget long term clothing store. No longer, due to less robust manufacture and a considerable slippage in standards. Why not set up a classics range of all the best made and popular ranges - would be a real hit in my community.”

“We have purchased Rohan clothing for at least 20 years and were previously very happy with their styles and ease of care - quick drying when used on our boat. However, recently the colour choices, particularly of men's trousers, have been very disappointing. Also you have removed popular styles, such as Escapers, from your range. The new chinos have much narrower legs and are not as suitable for those of us of shorter stature.”
