“I did not receive my last order because they demanded over $100. for import duties. If import duties are to be charged, you should state that at the outset. Sales are not a sale when large import duties are involved. I have purchased multiple items in the past & never was asked to pay import duties”

“advertised as Rohan Roamers mistakenly led my friend and myself to buy what we thought were waterproof trousers. We understand now that we should have asked for Dry Roamers.”

“Ordered large mitts, too small for me, also not mitts as there are fingers inside, which for me ( I suffy from Renaud's syndrome) don't allow me to gain heat from my hands to warm my fingers, fortunately they fit my partner. Not mitts then!”

“Rohan service excellent but shipping abroad expensive with DHL. On a 17 gbp order I paid 25 shipping and another 18 on arrival- 6 ‘service charge’ , 12 duty and it did not deliver on the day promised. You need to add an option to send by Royal Mail.I know I can emailseparatelybut that is not certain. On parcels under 35 there is no duty in Thailand”

“With lockdown I've been going out for a lot of winter walks but have always struggled to keep my legs warm. I therefore thought I'd treat myself to a pair of Rohan's winter trousers however am a bit disappointed that they aren't as warm as I'd hoped. They do fit quite well but for the price (the most expensive pair of trousers I've ever bought!) I can't say that I'd recommend them.”

“No problem about the quality of the trousers which is good. However, I am normally a size 12 but the size 12 trousers was slightly too big. Size 10 would have been too tight. Looks like I am an in between size for Rohan trousers.”

“The clothes are exceptional and I have been buying them for years now.The online service I find extremely good and DPD are excellent. My only slight gripe is it would be handy to be able to cancel an order or merge an order online, Reason for this is I ordered one item then decided I wanted another item then other. I had four parcels arrive on the same day and I could have saved few quid on postage....Maybe if someone spends a certain amount of money in a year they should have free postage added to their account for a certain amount of time ? I also find the photos of the garments can be a bit of a pain to zoom in on.... Hope this helps Regards Seb”

“Several years ago I purchased a Nightfall jacket. It was smart and warm but tore like paper! I spent a substantial amount of money having it repaired. I've recently bought a pair of Winter Fusion trousers. When I got them, I found that they were covered in a white powdery substance, which makes me wonder what sort of conditions they were stored in.”

“Very happy with what I ordered although disappointed that there was no flexibility with the £10 gift card which you had sent me. It expired in December and due to being ill with Covid19 was unable to send my order off until just after the expiry date. I telephoned to explain this but I was told no. As a loyal and good customer over the years I feel you should have taken the circumstances into account and honoured the £10 discount.”

“Every time I purchase an item from Rohan the material with the exception of 'Bags' is totaly different from anything I've purchased previously consequently you have no idea what to expect.Also trousers especially are discontinued regularly and something 'New' introduced. I think you should stick to a particular style. Having said that I like Rohan and have had your products for probably 20 years. They are generally hard wearing with the exception of zips which could do with improvement.”

“The coat I bought was too small (short sleeves) so it has been returned. I have never has sizing problems with Rohan goods before. No larger size was available for replacement order. Still awaiting a refund.”

“Compared to two other online orders made over Twixmas you were the last to be processed appreciate the Bank Holiday. However package was delivered 06.01.21. The outstanding company got there item to me by 02.01.21. Although that was ahead of the scheduled date.”

“Positive- very quick delivery despite COVID Down side- purchased trousers that I have regularly bought ( 6 years) Wear them every day in the garden. Also have pairs for holiday use. All the same size and still fit correctly. This purchase Completely different fabric and the sizing was very very different. Trousers were completely down graded by the fabric a huge disappointment. If I had been in store would not have made the purchase . Note to self wait until I can shop safely in person before looking at Rohan again.”

“We have a lot of Rohan clothes, we are keen walkers and the pair of us are collectively 150 years old. Two comments strike us, one a compliment, one a criticism. The compliment - we're sure you should emphasise much more than you do, that the vast majority of your clothes don't need ironing. We don't iron, or need to iron, any of your clothes - what we do is 'hand' iron them - i.e. smooth them with warm hands, fold them and put them away. Criticism - your trousers are poorly cut, particularly in view of their price. It costs no more to cut and stitch them well than to do it poorly. The appearance of your trousers lets down the quality of your fabrics and its technology. A typical example that springs to mind is my Fusion trousers - both 34 waist, one Regular the other Short. The Short is longer legged than the Regular and the waist band is slightly larger. They were bought approximately a year apart. Two pairs of jeans similar, both Short, but one much longer than the other, the waists on these are fine.”
