“I have shopped with Rohan for years and have until a recent experience always been completely satisfied. The recent bad experience was with the Long Preston shop. I had taken a bag in for zip repair for which I was happy to pay £15. Unfortunately on using the bag again for the first time the zip was still broken despite the end pull to the zip looking new. My main point of grievance is that when speaking with the manager Alex, he refused to let me return the bag by post and insisted that I come in to the Long Preston store personally. I resented this as I live approximately 15miles from the store and would have much preferred to post it. I did take it in as I was given no choice in the matter. The zip was then repaired and posted back to me. I was told that the issue was due to a communication problem between the shop and the repairer. I understand that these things happen and have no difficulty with this. My grievance was over having to return the bag to the shop personally.”

“I love Rohan stuff, but they keep mucking about with perfectly good designs and making them worse. Their trailblazer trousers were the best ever, but they have taken away the great thigh front zip pockets, ideal for keeping wallet and passports, to a really, really, USELESS long pocket at the back of the thigh that sticks in your thigh when you sit down. I have read other reviews about the same issue and although this has been an ongoing problem for a few years, rohan has never listened, or bothered to respond, to any reviews. Sadly, I will not be buying any more trousers from Rohan until they listen to what their buyers really want.”

“I have bought Rohan trousers for the last 15 years and have found them to be very comfortable. However, I am very disappointed to find that the quality has gone down. I have now returned two pairs of dry roomers because they have bobbled in the crotch area. I am now on my 3rd pair and after 2 weeks I am sad to see that it is happening again. I can only think that it is inferior material. I have 2 pairs of Romero’s that I have had for a number of years that are perfect. I would love to know the remedy to this as I find them extremely comfortable.”

“Would never order from this company again, ordered 4 dresses and paid $150. Material was shoddy, quality terrible. Requested a refund and was offered $13! Dresses in the garbage and I will stay far way from t to this place!”

“I ordered my goods with fast delivery to a pick up point. This delivery failed. I complained and was assured twice on the phone that the failure had been resolved and that the goods would be delivered. This failed, so I had to cancel the order and seek a refund. I was then told a refund would be issued when the goods were returned. Only when I complained that I could not return goods which were not delivered was I promised my money back. Terrible service.”

“I’ve worn Rohan gear for years but it looks like the brand is going down the Pan Your starting to turn out poorly made gear at top prices. Shame. Take a look at the feedback from loyal customers. Bad News.”

“I have been a good customer of rohan for many years so I was disappointed when I was about to order a cap online I was to be charged nearly £4 for delivery, the cap was £25 and could fit into my pocket, no thanks”

“One of the items did not fit so we wanted to return it , reading conditions of return we understood if we returned part order we would have to pay postage but if we returned complete order it would be free - so we returned complete order but was still deducted £3.95 so will not be ordering from Rohan again the order was for £149.95 not a trifle amount!!!!!”

“Trousers were fine, with duty and courier charge the goods cost Eur 79 extra. I would not have bought these if I was aware of this. Other companies are paying EU duty and not passing on to customers. Poorly managed.”

“Got wife pair of wellies think beginning of lockdown last year within a short while can’t remember which boot but one of thm tore at the top - so phone up got new pair sent out think my wife sent photo of damage? All good - except several months later started getting calls myself & my wife from Rohan “ why weren’t faulty boot not returned”? Explanation at the time early on in Covid lockdown was an unknown time re the virus and sending back was not straightforward & this seem to be accepted then But then months later we are made to feel like we are at fault! Have bought many Rohan items over the years but this was not good Rohan ‘PR’ Also the merino range Rohan now offer is very poor standard compared to when the merino underwear ect was pure merino and well designed ie new style merino mixed with man made product boxer shorts uncomfortable design and feel very synthetic rubbish”

“The jacket I bought seemed to be cut to a smaller size than the jacket I bought 18 months ago and so I returned it. It was received by Rohan a week ago and yet I have still not had my money refunded. Very unimpressed.”
