“I have been buying Rohan gear for 20+ years and always found it to be great. Disappointed to then buy goods on offer item at 20% reduction and a couple of weeks later see it on sale for even less. Realise the process of sales But this timing, so close, leaves a very bad taste.”

“The Rohan website has a section on delivery including EU countries. This shows the cost for deliveries and delivery dates. You can click on it for further information but this is not of much use as the additional information literally flashes up for one second (I timed it) making it difficult if not almost impossible to see. This was unfortunate for me as this is where the information on customs duties etc is essentially hidden. Essentially they are payable in your EU country. In my case these were duties of €36.91 on a purchase of €82.50 i.e. a total to me of €119.51. Its safe to say I am unlikely to ever be ordering something from this company again as I cannot justify paying a premium of 45% when I can purchase items of identical if not better quality for the lower price from Germany etc.”

“Placed an order in the Cambridge shop for a couple of shirts which were both available but out of stock in the shop for delivery to my home address. Only one has been delivered to date and I have no idea when the other will be delivered as I have received no emails with tracking info etc. Perhaps I have been unlucky with the order.”

“I had high hopes of these shoes as they had such good reviews but the sizing was wrong. I bought the wide but they were still very narrow and did not fit well at all. Very uncomfortable and disappointing.”

“I bought a pair of these trousers in September and have worn them constantly since. So I thought I would buy another pair. What a disappointment! What has happened to them? The top of the legs are baggy but from the knee down they are super-skinny. They looked awful and I’ve had to return them. I don’t appreciate having to spend £3.95 postage to get such a poor pair of jeans., especially as I generally like Rohan clothes.”

“I wanted to buy an e-gift voucher but the site would not allow me to buy it in Australia and send it direct to my brother in the UK. Hopeless. I'd give it 0/5 if that was an option (it isnt' )”

“Constant email hassle - it doesn't matter how many times you ask them every time you order something - there will be junk mail within a short time. No idea who runs their marketing/customer dissatisfaction department but they're getting my goat now. Why haven't they been fired? I have purchased Rohan gear for as long as I can remember (nearly 40 yrs) - with a small number of exceptions - always happy with it. But this is getting stupid - and oh yes sending people unsolicited carp is all the rage with so many other companies BUT nearly all of them honour their unsubscribe options. I cannot understand this - isn't the idea to build customer satisfaction, contentment, ethereal joy or whatever - I mean I'm all for being different (it was after all the motto of my alma mater) BUT can I mildly suggest going out of your way to p.ss them off might be a tad too radical? I'm off somewhere else - well done those people - 40 yrs of loyalty up the spout.”

“The jacket was purchased to arrive "by 24th December". Today, (6th January) it still has not arrived. No warning, no explanation. I believe this is down to the delivery company, BUT they are YOUR delivery company. The jacket is rather late for a Christmas gift. I could have bought it cheaper in the sale after Christmas it turns out. Not happy.”

“Hi, I've been a regular buyer of Rohan products for years but in keeping with the current focus on the environment I am looking carefully at my own environmental choices. I understand that making sustainable choices with clothing includes considerations such as how long an article of clothing is worn for and recycling etc. - areas where Rohan scores well. However, the Rohan website is silent/vague on a whole host of relevant areas such as sourcing of fabrics, use of energy and hazardous chemical use, environmental impacts of rayonisation etc. I have therefore switched my buying decisions to other brands such as Patagonia and BAM who are far more open about those areas. I would strongly encourage Rohan to focus on this area - if you are managing your business sustainably then you should be sharing hard data with your Customers - otherwise you will continue to lose customers like me.”

“We both wanted new waterproof over trousers after our old ones finally wore out after many years of use. Very disappointed with new waist design of pull ups. Our last pair had a zip and poppers making them easy to get on. My husband who is a slim 30 inch waist could not get the small past his hips and the medium were enormous. Very baggy as well. Really disappointed.”

“Disappointingly the waterproof jacket I purchased for my husband had a large split in the arm and had to be returned.. This was not the quality I expect from rohan and would be reluctant to buy from rohan again.”

“I bought Malay trousers in the sale. They did not fit and I returned them on 19/7/21 and asked for a refund. I telephoned 29/7/21 to ask why I had not received a refund. I was told that the trousers had been received the day before and the person said she would process the refund straight away and I would receive it wi5in 3-5 days. No refund has been received. Very slow service I would not buy from Rohan again.”
