“Products generally are very good. However customer service is not too good. I ordered online a couple of items. I wanted to return something. I couldn’t go to the shop and asked my husband to return it. In the shop they told him unless I signed they couldn’t give a refund. They would send the item back to Rohan who would issue a refund. A complete waste of our time. I had to go into the shop myself I didn’t want to wait .....why should I. No wonder the high street is deteriorating. They have forgotten customer service values.”

“Womens all-time socks, size 6-8, Fabric excellent: warm, smooth, washes well, no toe seam. BUT stretch tpp MUCH too tight! I take a size 7 shoe. My ankle measures 20.5 circumference, which looks normal to slim for foot size, but the elasticated top digs in and reduces circulation. Sadly I shall have to cut down thro the top, have a ragged sock -- and wait hopefully to hear that you may have solved this problem before I buy any more socks from you.”

“Hi Rohan, not a bad experience but add some colour to your shirt line , far too drab, I have a red check short sleeve shirt from you that I wear alot. have mentioned this to your customer service . Same for the trousers, add some colour. Long Time Rohan customer since 1979, bought my 1st pair of bags in Long Preston”

“I am actually a big fan of Rohan, with the microgrid zip fleece being my favourite item ( I have five in different colours). Sadly this year's range seem to be designed for people with very long arms and I shan't be buying my sixth fleece until the arm length reverts to normal. The microgrid full zip fleece is just the same. The nice man in my local store said that there had been lots of complaints.”

“This was a disappointing experience with a company I've previously rated highly. My order was for the winter stretch bags. The garment was of very good quality, but had to be returned because it didn't match the online description which stated (twice) that the trousers had an "elasticated waist". The absence of a zip was the main reason I bought them. I returned them and have received a refund, but am disappointed that there has been no communication from Rohan at all. At worst, I'd have liked an apology and ,at best, a refund of return postage.”

“This 2 star rating is due to one overriding fault that I'm finding with all my Rohan tops and now a pair of my Amblers - pilling! I have returned the worst and got replacements but I can't take everything back. I wash everything according to the instructions so I just don't know what to do. Items of my clothing from other sources are not anywhere near as badly affected. I love all the other qualities of Rohan clothing but when a light coloured top pills then it starts to look dirty as well”

“As a long time wearer of Rohan goods, (every day), I'm afraid I am disappointed at the recent trend Rohan has decided to take with what I regard as the ultimate tee shirt - the core silver tee. I have noted since the withdrawal of the hardwearing Marl material the subsequent materials used are thinner and do not last as long. (If I wanted a thinner tee shirt I'd get the ultra silver). Each of the latest tees I have purchased now have pulls in them which discourages their wear other than in a work environment - this didn't happen with the Marl material. The very latest effort is quite frankly a disgrace. Gone are the embroidered logos now reflective transfers complete with a go faster stripe on the back and a completely useless zipped pocket. The silver printing will crack in washing and look shoddy - I've got plenty of gym shirts that suffer from this at a fraction of your price! Come on Rohan, what Male wears a tee shirt without either trousers or shorts - which have plenty of pockets. If you want to make a running shirt just bring a line out. Don't destroy an iconic tee shirt. If this trend is the future for Rohan I'm afraid you start to lose loyal customers. As you will gather I am not happy with how you have changed my favourite item of clothing. It all honesty the latest design looks as if it is stocked and sold by Sports Direct! On a positive note the Rohan website, ordering process and delivery are all excellent.”

“Certainly not the product but the delivery. The goods ordered were two pairs of socks. The delivery driver did not deliver the goods on the first attempt because it required a signature, which is fair enough, but I then asked that it be left at a neighbour’s house, and again it wasn’t delivered for the same reason. I then repeated my request for deliver to a neighbour, and on the third attempt, the same delivery man finally delivered the goods. I’m not sure why common sense did not prevail.”

Sorry to hear you have been disappointed with our delivery. We usually quote up to 3 working days, however during sale times this will increase to up to 5 working days. Customers do have the option to use our next working day delivery if the items are required more urgently.

“Ordered the same trousers in the sale that my wife has following some damage to the existing pair, yet despite ordering the exact style and length when she tried them on they were two inches shorter! No others in the sale it was very disappointing and I cannot see why there should have been such a big difference in the length.”

“Ordered on line, told them to leave in porch and NOOOT the nieghbour so they left with the nieghbour. Rohan then sent me another pair, so in total long time coming. I then had to go to Stratford and back to return the first pair. So waited a long time, had to waste half a day returning them and had to drive 40 miles.”

“I had a disappointment with their adjustments to the design of the waterproof elite. The hood does not function as well as the 2012 version which had a fully functioning hood with peak. Current hood looks very funny and the peak slips back and lies flush to the face meaning your face gets wet with driving rain and top of forehead. Also its very high around the neck meaning it covers my mouth making it quite bulky to wear. A real shame that these 'improvements' compromise functionality and I wondered if outdoors people tested them. Hood needs looking at especially at the higher end of the price point where other brands can give you a functioning hood at 250 pounds. So disappointed.”

“I have been a customer for many years and feel it is time to give some honest feedback. I have always willingly paid a little bit more for quality items. However having just tried to buy some trousers it seems all styles are now skinny legged and narrow at the bottom hem. What happened to boot cut? It seems the changes are more of a fashion statement rather that anything practical. Comparing my action jeans to the current range, I won't be bothering in future.”

“I am very disappointed at having to pay postage to return an item to Rohan, this is the only online order that has not provided ‘postage page’ for any returns. I normally purchase items from the store when I am in Glasgow or Edinburgh, however decided to shop online on this occasion which I will not do again.”

“Ayla trousers, went down from a 14 to a 12 and honestly I don’t let me the fit or the material. I’ve shortened them and worn them twice but they don’t stretch when you sit down and don’t hang well. They also don’t wash as well as other Rohan trousers, they need an iron. I wear Rohan all the time and can’t fault the quality but this style of trousers I wouldn’t buy again .”

“Usually you're superb. THIS order was abnormal. I phoned the Leeds store to order - was asked to use the 0800 number. OK. Rang that. Even with my customer ID, my name & address, the agent couldn't find my details and fumbled the task - and then ASKED ME FOR MY PASSWORD! That's really NOT the done thing. Hence the 'poor' rating JUST THIS ONCE. I rang off and just ordered via the web page, which worked 100% smoothly as usual BUT I gather the store doesn't get "credited" in the process, which is a shame.”
