“I found my cruise concierge extremely helpful and knowledgeable but most importantly not 'pushy' or anxious to hustle me into a premature decision. I hope the river cruise in Burgandy and Provence at the end of August will live up to expections”

“As a first-time river cruiser, I rang inquiring about one particular holiday which I had seen advertised in The Times. My travel concierge, Richard Wishaw, was most helpful steering me to another which in the event was a much better choice for us. First class!”

“I was impressed by the polite and expeditious way my initial telephone call was handled. After being assigned a Concierge, Joe Morrison, he explained everything I asked of him without hesitation and gave me his contact number should I wish to get back in touch; I think this is an outstanding modus operandi because I do not have to explain over again my requirements. All in all, I was very impressed with the way my initial enquiries and eventual booking have been handled and I would certainly recommend your Company to anyone.”

“Having struggled looking for a river cruise holiday and becoming befuddled with all the info on all the differing sites, I was lucky enough to come across your site and the very helpful Debbie South. In no time at all she had found some cruises for our dates and I was able to go ahead and make a booking. Not only that but you have kept in touch to ensure everything is okay. “The booking was quite simple even though I ended up paying a lot more that the advertised price, The big disappointment was the FREE wine offer which just turned out to be a con. This has left me slightly worried that there may be other surprises in store. I cannot comment further at this point as I have not yet had my tickets or Free WINE. Here is hoping that all will be as promised and who knows we may try again.”

“We came to River cruises in a crisis, in that another company had lost our confidence after double booking us and the only alternative offered was a small cabin with a pull down bed that would leave me in a permanent stoop. (I am 6ft 6inches tall). Erin reassured us, went through our availability and requirements and made a selection of offers that were all attractive. Once we agreed a tour she ran us through the information she needed, provided our exact requirements in a single package and all the time reassured us with her confident manner and knowlege of both the company that had let us down and the offer she had for us with regard to itinery and getting there. I did not at any time feel that I was being pressured or subject to a sales pitch. Just a nice lady sorting out my problem. Excellent. Thanx.”

“I am unsure if you are the company I booked with, the ladies name is Maura. She is incredible. Professional, and nothing is too much trouble. She actually seems to care, and goes the extra mile. Just hoping the holiday is as good as the agent who sold it.”

“I had no idea I was talking to River Voyages, logged on to a Riviari Travel web site and was diverted to you. At no time during the first couple of discussions was your title given and only after querying why deposit was higher then RT quoted and date of final balance due did it click I was not booking directly with them. From then on doubt crept in, I was given wrong airport details, told departure was a Friday when it was a Monday , so not impressed at all. Yes Ryan corrected those details when pushed BUT I feel that I should have been advised who I was actually talking too at the very beginning. Subsequent calls again not answered as River Voyages...very very misleading.”

“I was contacted first thing next day after my enquiry. Details were taken and my request was put to the operator -Riviera Travel. Various options were offered and a decision was made to proceed. Ist class service from Mauren who booked our holiday and ,looked after our request.”
