“I chose to book with Gillian Stark because she arranged our river cruise holiday so efficiently last year. She is a very enthusiastic person with a slight Geordie accent who I like to talk with as I originally came from the North-East. I requested a couple of extra nights at Lyons at the end of our cruise which involved extra work for her i.e. hotel bookings, flights and ship & airport transfers. She arranged all of this very quickly and phoned me back with the details. Brilliant service. Thanks so much.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of the prompt, patient, courteous and comprehensive help and impartial advice that Helen gave me in booking my forthcoming Danube cruise with Scenic Cruises. This will be only our second cruise (of any kind!) and we are really looking forward to it. Helen took all the stress out of the process. As I said to her "you have a friend for life"!! I hope to use River Voyages again as we work our way around the rivers of Europe and - who knows maybe further afield!”

“Helen was most helpful when we wanted to book our Venice cruise and soon had a quote ready for us. A couple of days later I contacted her again to book some excursions and also ask if we could change our allocated cabin. Helen dealt with both matters whilst I was on the phone, very efficient at a particularly busy time for them. Thank you.”

“Contacted River Voyages having previously booked a Rhine cruise. I spoke to Helen Conway who was very helpful as I was booking for May 19 and there were only a few cabins left however I wanted to ensure that our friends from the USA would also be able to book on same cruise. Helen dealt with both our bookings and secured 2 of the few cabins remaining. Booking was dealt with very efficiently taking time to explain everything in great detail. Thank you so much Helen”

“What a great and relaxing cruise! River cruising, as opposed to ocean cruise, is a totally different experience! The duration was just perfect, the crew was really doing their best to make this cruise a memorable experience ( maybe they uncovered my secret ID...Santa!, they are now on my "good" list...Hohohooooo!). Venues, restaurant, and lounge on board were perfect. Cabin service top class! We did not join the guided tours as we prefer to wander on foot in our own time but in one instance, in Vienna where the Christmas market is about 5-6 km from the boat docking site, a bus shuttle service was used however we walk our way back! The docking address is written on the daily activity sheet, an address that probably a local taxi driver would understand but not our smartphone navigation aid, I strongly recommend to include also GPS coordinates. We made friends on board who probably we will meet again on future cruises. Overall 5 stars!”
