“I was considering taking early retirement and looking for guidance in what to do with my pensions that I had accumulated over the years. I contacted the retirement desk and spoke to Wendy. From the outset she took control of what I needed to do and what my options were, sending me a quotation from an appropriate provider within 24 hours. During the process of transferring the pensions they kept me up to date at all time, ringing me with updates exactly when they stated they would, unusual these days. Whenever I rang them with a query they always answered my question to my satisfaction. If Wendy was not available, one of her helpful colleagues could deal with the query. The whole process took around 2 months from the day that I decided to proceed, which included a slight delay from one of my existing pension providers. They delivered exactly what they said they would, very pleased! I would have no hesitation recommending The Retirement Desk to any of my friends and family 10/10👍🏻”

“Wendy explained the process we needed to go through and was not "sales oriented" at all. She kept me up to date, without any harassing phone calls or emails and provided the best deal. “After trying to deal directly with pension companys I was very happy to come accross Retirement Desk. I wanted to buy annuities for 2 modest pension pots, it took a couple of phone calls from Kay Martin and signing of a couple of forms, now (took about 3 weeks) I have the tax free sums and a very satisfactory annuity in place - Thank you Kay and The Retirement Desk.”

“There should be a box marked 'exceptional' to tick for the service I received. My consultant, Lisa O'Beirne went above and beyond to help me. Not once did I have to contact her to find out what was happening. She was always one step ahead of the game and was very sympathetic to my needs and for that I thank her greatly! “I have dealt with many IFA's through my career in accountancy. Lisa at Retirement Desk was friendly, quick, and efficient. She knew everything I wanted to know and was able to tell me the time scale to set up my plan, and the amount I would receive without the normal hard sell jargon associated with IFA's. I would recommend RD to all my customers.”

“I had already done my homework on pensions, and knew what I wanted. I was very impressed by the fact that Kay Martin (my consultant) asked all the right questions, did not try to change my mind or sell me alternative products. The administrative side of things was handled very professionally, and remarkably quickly! Additionally, Ms Martin discovered an error in the transfer of funds from my previous investment company and obtained a refund of several hundred pounds on my behalf. I have not had a chance to recommend The Retirement Desk to any of my friends, but would not hesitate to do so if the opportunity arises.”

“Sorting out pensions is quite a bewildering time as you are making decisions that will affect the rest of your life. I was in the middle of cancer treatment at the time so was not in the best frame of mind. You hear about the elderly being cheated by unscrupulous companies so I was unsure when contacting The Retirement Desk. I am happy to say that I was immediately put at ease by Lisa who gave me all the info I needed to check out my options. The whole process was taken from me and handled expertly whilst keeping me up to date with the progress. In fact, Lisa has just called me to advise that I will be receiving an extra payment that I would never have known about so I have no fear in recommending The Retirement desk to anyone in my position. I still have another pension to claim and will have no worries in using The Retirement Desk to arrange this when the time comes. Thanks again to Lisa and the rest of the team.”
