The retirement desk gave an excellent service. I dealt with Kay Martin who kept me informed all along the way and I would recommend this company to anyone needing pension help and advice.

We had a fairly large sum of money to invest and we needed a firm we could trust. The Retirement Desk fitted the bill and we found them efficient, courteous. and very helpful. They had a good knowledge of the assurance industry and we would have no hesitation in recommending the Retirement Desk.

With various pensions coming to fruition and all the complicated options it looked like a very daunting task ahead for me to take on. After contacting The Retirement Desk and speaking with Kay Martin it was evident that I was now in the hands of an expert. Kay explained various options and advised me of the ones that would suit my circumstances. There was no pressure to commit and when I had decided how to go forward Kay immediately got things moving. and over the following 3 to 4 weeks she had completed the process keeping me informed of every step. Kay's communication and manner both by email and telephone made me feel comfortable and confident throughout. Thank you Kay Martin

I was impressed with the service I received, especially from Lisa O'Beirne who guided me through the process of buying an annuity and gave me a weekly update on the progress. I would recommend The Retirement Desk.

Retirement Desk are first class. Lisa O'beirne was excellent throughout and a great communicator. Everything was explained and done as promised. The whole process was seamless and stress free. Lisa when on leave briefed her colleague, Kay Martin so in her absence she could deal with my inquiry. Very conscientious. 10 out of 10. Many thanks.

Unsure of how to best use my retirement pot I linked up with Lisa at the Retirement Desk. She guided me through the whole process of my choice from start to to finish, the whole procedure was relaxed, courteous, professional with no pressurised decisions to make. Extremely satisfied with the service Lisa provided and the final outcome for my pension. This is definitely the place to go if like myself needed help in this area of expertise.

Everything was effortless and put into place swiftly. Getting to speak to Kay, understanding the process of getting an annuity (unlike with other companies I contacted), filling in the paperwork she sent (everything was completed except where my signature was needed). There were regular updates by phone or email and the process went ahead as outlined. Few phone calls were needed but Kay was always available immediately by phone if needed. There was no pressure or hard sell at any stage.

Contacted before my previous pension arranged by the Retirement Desk finished and given the alternatives going forward with examples. When i had selected the plan which suited me this was arranged and put into place by the Retirement Desk. I was kept informed throughout the entire process with everything happening as it should do. Very satisfied with the service provided and pleased to recommend the Retirement Desk.

Although I think the fixed income return is a worthwhile investment I acted too hastily and now Realise it was the wrong choice for my circumstances and need the flexibility to change my monthly income. I had 30 days to change my mind but was not aware the remainder of the fund not taken at any given time could not be transferred to another money purchase. Yes I am at fault as all the details are in the small print but I would have liked that point to be stressed over and over.

I was very impressed by the lady (Kay Martin) who dealt with my case. She was helpful, courteous, patient and cheerful. The process was longer than usual but ultimately reached a very satisfactory conclusion.

I was very impressed by the service I received. Kay was efficient, thorough and kept me informed throughout the process. My situation was not run of the mill but a situation that could have dragged on for months was resolved amicably by her intervention. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Retirement Desk.

We dealt with Kay Martin who was very polite and professional and always kept us informed about the market rates/quotes which we requested for my wife's pension and was very understanding due to the time we took to decide to proceed which we have done now. I would also recommend anyone if they are looking for the same service and I, myself will hopefully contact her again in 2024 to get quotes for my pension. Very professional/courteous when replying to our requests by email/telephone.

The recent contact with the Retirement Desk was for a second pension pot I had. Both times I received good advice given in a professional yet personal manner with no pressure to make a decision. All questions I asked at each stage were answered fully and options given to me. So on that basis I am willing to recommend them.

I've used Lisa's services a couple of times over the last few years as I make my way to retirement. She has always been efficient, has done what she said, when she said and ensured my pension income started paying out as soon as possible. If I had any more pension funds I wouldn't look anywhere else for this service. 100% recommended.
