Waiting 3 weeks for delivery very poor communication

I ordered and paid for a roll-end of commercial grade vinyl on the 17th May and received the standard "thank you for your order" email. I followed up on the 19th to inquire as to the rough delivery date and was advised it would be with me by the end of the week i.e. 21st / 22nd. On the 20th I got an email to say the order was being processed, so far so ok. On the morning of Monday 24th I got an email to say they were "still working hard on my order" - a week after ordering - I replied to ask if the order was going to arrive at all and could I please have a delivery date. At the end of the day I received another email advising that the roll was faulty and could not be shipped but that there were some other alternatives. As I now had no time to start re-researching the internet I chose one of the alternatives, unfortunately with a wear-layer less than half the thickness and nowhere near the quality of the original ordered. All in all a very unsatisfactory experience - to have to wait for a week just to be told they can't deliver is absolutely shocking.

Was due to be received on the 12th. tape arrived early. LVT ‘lost in transit’. But didn’t inform me I had to call them. Not hugely impressed. They have said they’ll replace it. Next Wednesday. A week to late.

Initial contact good. Waiting for three samples, not good. Delivery of the samples was to the wrong address, plus there was only one sample of the wrong type, but the right colour. The correct three samples were eventually received and one of them chosen to order 160 carpet tiles. We waited, a further not so wee while, for these tiles to be delivered from Holland. Time from start to receiving the product - nearly four weeks. Too long? You decide.

Nice product and quick delivery. Arrived damaged, and could not get through to customer service, gave up after 30mins of trying.

Unfortunately the piece that was sent wasn’t square! This made it really tricky to cut as our area wasn’t square either... it took us about 2hours to cut & the black colour stained our carpet!! No instructions included about how to cut it which would be useful. Also our alarm has been playing up ever since we laid it ! 🤬

I ordered a grey coir mat and paid £76 for 2m x 2m not cheap. The mat is brown although I have emailed Remland carpets they assured me that this was off their grey roll. This is their reply Please note that this Premium Quality A Grade product has been dyed and finished by hand and will include naturally occurring variations in shade and texture, this adds to the unique character of the matting and should not be considered a defect.’ This item is heavy and would have cost me X amount to return so my husband laid it as you can see from the picture an expensive amount I have a dark grey front door and a light grey shoe unit in my porch.

The last carpet I bought from Remland carpets was delivered in filthy, wet, damaged packaging which had caused staining in a few places. Disappointed.

Had to return 2 carpets as wrong size , paid for return myself and they are still intending to keep 25 per cent of my money

I'm not happy with the customer service. First I was waiting around 3 weeks for my vinyl flooring and after all it came damaged. Unfortunately the damage was at the end of the roll so couldn't see, flooring was already fitted and the company said that they can't do refund or replacement because the floor have been fitted...

I'm only reviewing because I was invited to by Remland. Ordered vinyl 28/12/20 and received the wrong product 06/01/21. I raised the issue 07/01/21 and was promised next day collection upon which the correct Vinyl would be sent out. This didn't happen. I had to arrange with the courier and subsequently didn't get the wrong product collected until 11/01/21. Remland's policy is not to send out the correct product until the wrong one has been collected. I emailed twice and they could not give me an ETA on my Vinyl therefore I cancelled the order. Fitter appointment missed. Awaiting the refund which they have promised 13/01/21

great service cannot fault arrived as they said on delivery time, but product was poor quality fitted hoovered the matt and now we have areas were the coir has come out, I emailed but no response from Remland. would I come back prob not like I said cannot fault, payment to delivery but quality and response on customer service nil

Delivery took way longer than expected but once is called the company directly they over nighted the product to me. Overall, I’m not that keen on the vinyl as I think there is some discolouration which is a real shame

bought an item which arrived packaged in hard cardboard tube. tube was heavily bent and item was damaged and unusable for the 1st half metre

The tape that is used to keep the flooring together for delivery left a sticky, horrible mess and a visible line on the floor. Many products used to try and remove it, but the stickiness is still there. Emailed customer services, but they eventually gave up responding! Disappointing.

Great carpet tiles - when they eventually arrived. Very slow in delivery, with poor communication. I had to ring to find out what was happening and even then there was a further delay. Unimpressive.

Extremely dissappointed! Carpet is not here because your courier failed to deliver within the promised time slot ie 9.54am to 12.54am. With such a precise timing given, I would expect it to arrive within this period,whilst accepting that delays might occur. However the delivery was attempted much earlier at 9.00am-ish! A text was sent at 8.27am advising delivery ETA of half an hour. At this time I was at the doctors with phone turned off. But was back home in good time to receive carpet..... alas it had been and gone! Fitter is due on Monday to fit another carpet and was due to do this one too but you could not rearrange delivery until Tuesday at the earliest. Not Happy.
