Goods ordered/invoice date 3rd Oct. after many phone calls we are still awaiting delivery of goods. We had paid for next day before 12 delivery! E W Heywood, James Thorpe & Son Ltd.

Hi John, Your order is being dispatched via Royal Mail second class delivery as selected when placing your order which can mean delivery takes between 3-5 working days. Your order should be with you shortly but please let us know if it still hasn’t arrived after 5 working days. Thanks, Becky

It is very difficult to write a review of a product you have not yet received, even after upgrading the postage. Sadly I was forced to find an alternative product to meet customer deadlines.

The tele sales attitude is absolutely shocking though some of them niki I would say was the best one I’ve talked to Your company has lost me 3000 pounds in labor waiting on the delivery problems Which I feel a money back for the lose should be compensated

Still havnt recived my items of glazing tape, which I paid next day for. Had to go somewhere else to get my stock from. Not grate to be honest

You are offering me 10% off if i write a review, if you offered me 10% off instead of calling me telling me the items i have ordered online are discontinued and the replacements are actually 30% more expensive than the originals then you might of made a sale .... you will be coming off of my favourites list. Poor Show!!

Order placed a week ago and still waiting delivery I realise it has been Easter but thought it would of arrived today at the latest. I used to deal with them when I owned my joinery company and always found them very helpful my star rating is based on this time only.

I ordered some espag window fittings for UPVC windows the first lot arrived they were for wood i rang up was told sorry you have been given the wrong fitting, you send them back at your own cost you will have to reorder because the ones you have been sent are the wrong ones you will have to pay for the next lot but we will refund. the 2nd lot came still for wood your technical chap said he would look into it and ring back but never did after repeated phone calls they said they would collect and refund the money i am still waiting

Unfortunately the product ordered originally was not suitable for uPVC windows, we are timber window specialists and as such are not experienced enough in uPVC to advise exactly what you’d require. We hope the advice we gave you on the phone further explained why the product would not be suitable for your project. Company is an omnishambles without the ability to differentiate arse from elbow. Failed to deliver, charged me for delivery anyway, inspite of that being against consumer protection law. They tried shipping again and failed to deliver all the items. Took a month to reply to my email and they just ignored that they had failed to deliver all of the items I ordered. Shame as the partial order they delivered was pretty good stuff for the price.

I ordered two items that would be delivered within two days, needed for my boat. Day I was leaving I received a call to say driver could not locate my property. I said I needed the items that day. I then received a further call to say driver was back at the depot. REALLY? I find this laughable. the person I spoke to was not polite, attitude take it or leave it. I cancelled order and requested a refund. Rest assured I will not deal with this company again and all reviews I give will be very unfavorable.

Due a parcel so waited in all day only to get a message from delivery company at 5pm saying delivery could not be made as full address was required.(the delivery company had the full correct address and so did rediseals) frustrating!

Hello The sash window restrictor are not long enough to reach the second sash i.e. the gap between the two is greater than the length of the pin. It would have to be a very close/accurate fit for these restrictors to work effectively more akin to modern sash installations rather than our 'sloppy' 120 year-old windows. I had to fit an additional piece of wood to lessen the gap...this was disappointing as it has spoilt the look of the refurbished window to some extent. Hello Just to let you know that the pin sheared the first time the restrictor was used.....weak fabrication and poor quality and really not fit for purpose

We still have not received the delivery that I placed last week. The delivery address I input into the system, it only took some of the information over the delivery driver apparently. There was no phone call from the driver to check on the address of which i was told there had been. I am not impressed at all with this service
