“The move team was fantastic. They really took care with my items, and ensured they did not bump into walls or scuff floors as they were moving me into my new home. Despite requiring 3 additional hours of work (due to a problem with the freight lift in the building--additional fees were agreed upfront), they worked tirelessly for just a 2-man team and remained extremely helpful and professional throughout the move. In addition, packing materials were delivered for free over the weekend before the move. Helen was extremely responsive and payment at the end very easily sorted via phone. I would highly recommend this moving company.”

“The removal company sub-contracted the job to some cowboys who damaged a number of items of my furniture and took zero care of my property during the job. I regret using this service.”

Thanks Burak. The companies we work with are not allowed to sub-contract their removals jobs and sign an agreement with us to this effect. We are therefore investigating this immediately and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are extremely sorry that you did not get the usual excellent service that our removals firms provide.

“The guys worked really hard on the day of our move. they were very organised and took the stress out of the move. We were even able to sit in the garden in the sun while they loaded up. we would definitely recommend them”

“I am very impressed by the efficiency and quality of 'reallymoving.com' in providing list of recommendations when I needed a surveyor. I chose Greenview and am delighted with the quality of their work. Mrs Belinda Logan is exceptional and personable. For someone unused to dealing with property purchase it would be difficult to find a better guide.”

“When asking for a quotation for a survey of a property, you expect to find a few differences with pricing. Unfortunately it appears there was little difference in any of the quotations, which leads me to believe that an element of price fixing may be being used. Only one company came back to me with a 20% discounted rate, saying it was a spring saver deal. I expected a greater difference between all the company's that quoted me. After all a survey is just a survey. I was not impressed by any of the quotations or companies that were presented to me. It would be more beneficial if a wider range of companies could be offered, to ensure completion in the market place.”

Dear John We strongly refute your claims. Your enquiry generated different survey quotes as follows: Homebuyer Report quotes £230, £324, £350, £360 and your Building Survey quotes £325, £360, £400, £516. For a property under £100,000 this is quite a wide variation. Our Chartered Surveyors are in charge of their own prices, and we have absolutely no influence of these prices. This is why you received a wide variation of fees.
