“My search was for quotes from companies in a specific city. Despite the response heading saying 'see your quotes from X location' there were no quotes from anywhere near that area. As it is a major city I can only conclude this service is funded by companies that pay them, this cost will be passed on to the customer. All the quotes were high. Better to search locally and avoid this model.”

The firms we have available in some postcodes are unfortunately all firms who are based nationwide and work on an online basis and I understand why that doesn’t work for everyone and it is sometimes more beneficial to use someone that has specific local knowledge. We are working really hard to build our coverage so we will ensure we focus on targeting firms that are local to specific areas. Also we would like to say that no cost is passed to the customers by us at any point, the use of this service is free for customers. “Shortly after checking this site for a price on conveyancing, my inbox started to inflate with unsolicited requests from solicitors trying to secure my work, and then the phone calls began. As I had already achieved a better quote via another site, I had no use for any of this, and I don't understand the business model. If any of the quotes had been reasonable, I would have taken one, but they were not, so I really don't need the huge list of bad quotes to all contact me asking if I want their services. Clearly, I chose the one that I wanted, I don't need to hear from the rest!”

“Their website literally says they won’t spam you… but the conveyancers will! Just wanted a quote, not 4 calls and texts a day from 4 different firms. Ended up having to block all incoming calls just to stop it!!!”

“I was connected with PCS Legal via reallymoving which caused me months of undue stress and financial cost. pcs legal are the worst company i have ever had to deal with. Ignored throughout the process despite it being a basic cash purchase with no chain and I had the survey completed straight away myself. I had to pay them an extra £360 for the platinum service and then they arranged for completion the following week despite that Id just been told it could still take several months. About 6 months after the purchase they still hadnt registered me as the owner at the land registry so i had to do this myself and they are continuing to ignore my requests which have been ongoing for months to repay me the £225 they told me that they owe me when they sent the completion statement 7 months ago.”
