“Thought I was already at the top of my coffee game, using high end supermarket beans. Then some people recommended I try Rave. I shrugged, and went for the popular Fudge blend and a single origin bag, just to humour them. And wow! Hands down the best upgrade I could have made to my coffee setup. Fresh coffee beans (they were delivered the day after roasting) versus months old supermarket beans has made such a difference. Who knew! Tastes are now vivid and layered. On my 1st order i got 2 bags of coffee and ordered them to the filter i needed for my espresso machine but when they arrive the filter was too fine so i got in touch and they sent me out my order again free of charge with the right filter. “Very disappointed in the signature blends. Whilst I do find it tastes fresher than store bought pods, the strength is disappointing. Even the Strong AF led to disappointment when trying this. As a pretty seasoned coffee drinker, blends need to be made stronger. The signature blend was that weak it needed to pods, and crutches.”
“Delicious! Colombian just gone in the coffee machine, so not yet tried but the other two blends have been devoured in our household.
Personal favourite so far is the signature blend, although the Italian comes close. Will be looking to order a kilo of whichever blend we can agree on and also intrigued to try out some of the lighter roasts.
Price point is on the more expensive side, but for the quality and freshness I think it's worth it. All in all, very pleased.
