“The service received from R-and-D was EXCELLENT. My family & I arrived late (not long before closing time), to buy numerous items. Each item needed a 'listening to' so we could make a selection from the options. We are non-experts and need hand holding and educating. We were not in the slightest bit rushed and R-and-D stayed open late to ensure we were able to go through every last detail and leave happy. We travelled a long way to find a drum shop that had drums in stock (not just a catalogue to choose from) and knowledgeable staff - I'm glad we made the effort. I would encourage anyone to use this shop. The modern world needs real places and customer-focused service like this.”

“I rang up and asked about a set of chimes, they had none in stock instore but Kevin on the phone was incredibly helpful and ordered me a lovely set of chimes even with a slight discount and had them to me in time for the show I needed them for! Brilliant, friendly, everything you could ask for.”

“I ordered a small part November 17 and still have not received it, December 5. I had to chase to find out the status of my order. I ordered a similar part from another company and it arrived 2 days later.”

Hi Jim, I've just reviewed this order as we work very hard to ensure we stick to advertised time frames, as you can see from our reviews generally, we take our customer service very seriously. I must admit, the recent Royal Mail strikes have made this very difficult, however, in this case, the part was advertised as coming from our supplier which would take 7 working days. Your item was posted on time but does look to be held up in all this Royal Mail mess along with many others. I can only apologise on their behalf but would like to point out that we could not have been more transparent about the lead time on this item.
