Item was delivered in good condition however delivery was quite slow.

Communication excellent. Delivery time was pretty poor and DHL delivered 3 days later than expected. The was 'in stock' but, had to be shipped from Germany. You need to make it clear when advertising goods that they are not in the UK.

OK. Took over a week to arrive (to London, nowhere odd). I tried calling to follow up, the number didn't even ring. I emailed and the reply blamed a computer glitch leaving them believing it had already been sent. Well I swear "computer glitch" is like "dog ate my homework" 99% of the time. But if its not in this case, then you chose that software. If it can't handle a simple transaction e.g 'I pay you give', it is the wrong software to consuct simple transactions with. I note that the order wouldn't have been placed at all if "I thought I'd already paid." Obviously with the delays I tried tracking it a lot with the tracking number supplied, which admittedly is with a third party, but this company chooses the third party they work with. The tracking was the most redundant service ever. Trying got me a message saying something like "tracking info only available after we attempt to deliver," baring in mind if their delivery attempt was a success, I would not be tracking, what they're really saying is "tracking only works if there's a problem." But then, there was a problem with my order, and tracking still didn't work!! So the number only really let's you track in some problematic cases. Totally useless (and the more use it is, the bigger an issue they have!). Anyway, two wires finally arrived, both brand new, I've used one and works fine I'm assuming the other does too but haven't tried it yet. Below it asks how quickly they responded with the highest option "over a week" and the next down "6-12 hours". I emailed in the afternoon and had a reply next morning so was in 6-12 working hours, not 6-12 actual hours.

Ordering was easy and time scale for shipping seemed quick but DHL were dreadful and said delivery on this date then said delay so rang R+D and Kevin was very helpful and DHL now say delivery on Monday when I was expecting it sooner and broke down my old rack ! and away in Edinburgh on delivery day !!! Only. Gave 3 stars due to poor shipping not sure if I’ll order from again, logistics but sick of ordering stuff when an eta is given and always customer chasing up

Company was responsive upon queries. Item is excellent. However delivery time was estimated at 4 weeks. Took 12 weeks to arrive, long after the event/trip the item was required for.

Overall a good service was a problem with the courier losing the parcel, but once I'd spoke to the staff it got sorted

The Elixir Strings and D'Addario Feedback Suppressor were very competitively priced, however I have had to mark the rating down as there was a delay in the order being despatched to me and no update/reason for the delay had been provided prior to my email to question the whereabouts of my items.

Hi Phil, Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. I'm sorry you experienced a delay in getting your items. Postal and Courier delays have mounted up since strike action and has created an accumulative backlog. There are more strikes planned but we have updated our procedures to try and ensure delays are minimised and where possible prior notice is given. Kind Regards Rattle & Drum

Delivery was late. Maybe not caused by R&D. Communication very good when updates requested. I would use them again as pricing is sensible.

Hi David, Thanks for your understanding. We are getting some delays from couriers, both goods coming in and going out to our customers. Thankfully not too often but there are still quite a lot of people ending up off work with COVID and it is still having an effect on everything. I hope everything else with your order was as expected :)

Communication was good, but sadly a simple guitar strap took two and a half weeks to arrive. To be fair they had issues with their supplier, but I hadn't noticed they do sell things that they don't physically have in the shop.

Hi Neville, I'm sorry your guitar strap took longer than expected to arrive. We do sell items sourced directly from the supplier's warehouse as there are far more choices than we could possibly keep here however, we do try and make this as transparent as possible on the product page. We give as accurate as possible lead time and state where the stock is (in-store or supplier warehouse). In this case though the strap took a couple of days longer than the stated 14 working days so I do apologise that this was the case. The last couple of weeks have seen a few delays from the EU suppliers but this seems to be going back to normal now. Kind Regards Martin

Absolutely awful communication! Ordered my items online only to be called the following day to be told that one of the items was out of stock. I was told all be in by the middle of the week and as a result, with me by the weekend. Absolutely fine, no problem. The following week, still no delivery, still no update. Was then passed around the houses trying to find out what was going on with my order. Finally get an idea of what’s happening to be told that nobody knows where it is! After finding it I’m told that it’s been put on a next day post service to ‘maybe’ arrive with me on a Saturday. Finally out for delivery on Monday, the driver then decides to refuse deliver despite me updating the details to allow a safe place to be used. Over two weeks for the products to arrive and with absolutely no communication from the company is absolutely not acceptable. I’m still waiting for that phone call too Ed…

There was a delay in delivery that was actioned after i contacted them. They confirmed an issue at their end and apologised.

Sadly we waited over three weeks for flix sticks arrive. Yes it was over Christmas but there failed to be communication initiated by rattle and drum to explain the delay; eventually we had some positive communication which they followed up on as promised and my son is very happy with the product.
