“I couldn't thank the company enough. Tried everything and lost hope but spoke to a really friendly gentleman who explained the procedure which was quick and simple. I lost my final dissertation for my Msc course at uni... But managed to receive it!!! Would definitely recommend this company to recover any lost data!”

“This is the best service I have ever used. My hard drive in a NAS failed on the Thursday. I tried to recover it myself on Friday/ Saturday but could not recognise the file system. I rang R3 on Sunday and received a call back about an hour later. Agreed a way forward. The disk was picked up on the Monday and I had a 1tb uSB drive delivered to my house the following Monday with ALL my data recovered. I was kept up to date by E Mails and telephone throughout the week. Could not ask for more. I cannot recommend R3 too highly. They were superb.”

“Once my NAS failed, losing all the family photos and music, I figured leave it to the professionals, and that's exactly what R3 are. Right from the start the service was slick and efficient, and their team instilled me with the confidence that I'd chosen the right team for the job. All transportation of the media was handle by R3 and I was informed every step of the way. Once they'd examined my hard drive I was told it was truly trashed , but they could retrieve my files but not the folder structure, and the files would have names designated by their software. Thry sent me a list of the files which could be recovered along with sample files for me to identify, I had no issues with the names of the photos, and I could always rip my music again. As long as I got the family photos back, I was happy and told the guys to proceed. Well, I ended up more than happy, because with a little more delving, the R3 team found more data and managed to not only supply the files in the manner they promised, but they found the structure of the folders too and sent it all back on an external HDD. I will now be investing in a raid device. To sum up; despite being a hugely busy team, R3 were efficient, knowledgeable and communication was excellent. The service is worth every penny and I'm glad to recommend them highly.”

Many thanks for the review Mark. The Iomega Home media 1TB NAS had a Seagate ST31000333AS which had a firmware fault and bad sectors. This probably happened during power fluctuations. Glad we could be of service and thank you for the recommendation. Andy

“Its a very stressful thing to lose all your data, I sent my hard drive to Currys and they couldn't retrieve my information. I thought I had lost everything and I was so devasted until I came across R3 Data, they recovered everything for me and to be honest the price is a bit reasonable considering you cannot put a price on memories. So I would recommend them to everyone as they are very good at what they do. They keep you informed all the way with the progress.”

Hi Cornel Many thanks for the positive review and feedback. In reality your case was processed to the quoted time scale of 5-7 working days from arrival, we do try to progress every case a quickly as possible. However a number of factors can affect processing times. These range from staff / equipment availability and varying demands on the lab to in this case the complication was working out how the quality of the results of nearly 2TB of data recovered could be checked before release. When a RAID 5 array made up of 4 X1TB discs fails it is often not just one drive which has problems and there is the possibility that there is some corruption or more than one recovery will be needed due to how drives drop out and get re-added. All in all though a good result achieved cost effectively for the price quoted at the outset. We continue to maintain the best reaction and highest success rates possible, and as one of the very few data recovery labs in the UK we are increasing our capacity to help more people every year by continual investment. “Even though the recovery took a while I cant complain- I got my important data back out of my broken hardrive, and I am extremely happy with it! Also the company sounded trustworthy and professional. If I ever break my hard-rive-hopefully not -I will call them again. Hi Bernard When I first heard about your case it had me intrigued. The fact that your nearest DR provider to Co. Donegal had given only a 50% chance of recovery because of the scratch on the platter was a concern but not the worst we have seen and recovered. R3 engineering resources are the very best available, from expert engineers to the equipment necessary to help control unstable drives. However it was still a difficult recovery on WDBABV0010BBK-00 which did take an extended period to complete. Glad we could be of service Andy

Hi Craig Many thanks for the review, it is appreciated, despite the DR company in Reston being unable to assist you, to their credit they were able to direct you to R3. Despite your Hitachi HTS723225A7A364 having weak heads and some bad sectors it was a relatively straight forward / non eventful recovery which we like also. Dear Fearn Despite your negative review it has to be said you did receive a full recovery for the £199+vat quoted at the outset for the budget degraded WD Model WDBAAF0010HBK-00 drive recovery service. The delays and processing issue came form you being unavailable for many weeks and then confusion at your end on who was going to make payment. This caused a quarantine and credit control process to be invoked and meant that despite dozens of calls, and several emails trying to get in touch with you over several weeks we were about to wipe the data a destroy the original drive as we are not a data storage company and needed our image drive back for production. When finally we were about to secure wipe the recovered data and image drive, someone else did finally pay on your behalf but it meant that the recovered data and your original drive at this point had become separated. I will look into where your original drive is and make it ready for return, however there is an additional £15+vat for the carriage. Andy
