“R3 data recovery were absolutely amazing when the hard drive failed on my 2012 iMac. I’d originally taken it to Apple who’d diagnosed the problem but couldn’t fix it and I was left in a blind panic with all of my photos and documents stuck on a computer I couldn’t access (and which I stupidly hadn’t backed up for years). Apple suggested a data recovery company that partnered with them to offer 10% off but when I got a quote, it was thousands! After some research, I found R3 and caught owner Andy on the phone on a Saturday morning. He quoted a few hundred pounds, which was far more reasonable and was an absolute delight to speak to, completely putting me at ease that there was hope of data recovery. Andy put me in touch with director Will who sent out the packaging the next week, and within a couple of weeks I received a hard drive back with my data on, which I was then able to download to a new computer. They were incredible helpful when I needed a little help over the phone to transfer the data and I cannot thank Andy, Will and the rest of the team enough for getting me back all of my treasured photos and important documents, it’s meant absolutely everything to me.”

“Spoke to Andy on Friday afternoon after all the files on my hdd were not accessible, he calmed me down and I dropped the disc in around tea time, Paul took a look and told me how the disc had failed and confirmed it should be possible to recover most if not all the data, and they would drop straight onto it. I received a list of recoverable files on Monday, paid the invoice which was actually slightly less than I was expecting and Tuesday lunchtime was able to collect the recovered data on a new hdd. Great service, reasonable costs and all my data was saved. Definitely recommend R3.”

“This is the second time I have used R3 Data Recovery in 10 years. Both times full fast recovery and was kept well informed during all stages of the process. This time is was after the failure of a 1TB internal hard disk. Collection and return of disk/recovery media fast and reliable. Although I hope not to have to use their services again I wouldn't hesitate if necessary.”

“I chose R3 Data Recovery to recover files from my 1TB external hard drive and I’m very glad I did. They kept me well informed throughout the process and, although the recovery took some time, a large percentage of my data was successfully recovered. Being able to clearly see what could be recovered and what was unfortunately damaged was very helpful, and will be useful in the future if I ever need to search for a specific file. The most precious files to me were my photos, and I was relieved that these were recovered at a higher rate than my documents. Communication was excellent whenever I emailed, I received a quick and helpful response. Overall, a professional and reassuring service that I would recommend.”

“R3 successfully recovered 850Go of data from my failed hard drive in about a month. At first I was sent a file list that was only showing about half of the content, which scared me, but after sending further details and explanation the team was able to find everything I wanted. Each step was clearly explained to me and the communication was great. It's not a cheap service but it's a huge relief for me to have everything back. Now I'm copying all my data on 3 different drives + Cloud.”

“From my first enquiry on their website everything was handled promptly and professionally. First I got an email acknowledgement so I knew they were aware of my enquiry. Then a call from an actual human being; Stewart Gemmill who talked me through my issues, clearly explained my options and costs and sorted collection there and then. Collection and return delivery happened exactly as and when I was told. I received detailed email updates on the progress of the recovery of my data. Courtesy call and emails to clarify points and I was happy with progress. Returned new drive is installed, working fine and I could not be happier. All happened well within their advertised turnaround time and done in friendly manner, not intimidated by their better knowledge and professionally. Did not judge me once - even though it was down to my error. R3 response and service far exceed my expectations and I could not be happier.
