“I had to organise two funerals & Pure Cremations handled everything for me, they were amazing all the way through the process even when it can to bring my parents ashes home, I really can’t put in to words how helpful, kind & caring everyone was, thank you”

“I had heard of pure creation but didn’t know anyone who had used their service. When I first rang I was anxious, who wouldn’t have been; my wife had just died! I was immediately reassured by the lady I was speaking to. She was both respectful and very good at guiding me through the process. It was not an experience I want to repeat, but if I have to then I have a good experience to fall back on. The respect they showed from then on and the care they took were second to none. Even the young lady who eventually returned the ashes dealt with me as though I was the most important person she had to deal with. None of the experience was repetitive or practiced- excellent!”

“Pure Cremation were so helpful kind and understanding in dealing with my mums death from the start to the finish. I had 24/7 help if needed and was kept informed of each stage. I would recommend them and will be using them myself when the time comes. I can't thank them enough.”

“The team was very professional and sympathetic whilst helping me with the details of my mum’s cremation package. They were patient and very understanding whilst I was still mourning my mum’s passing. Also the team kept me informed about what was happening every step of the way. I’m very happy with this service as they are truly exceptional and very professional.”

“During one of the most difficult times in my life, losing a parent at a young age, pure cremation have been nothing but compassionate, caring and professional. I was completely clueless when ringing them and wasn’t sure what to say or do. Christine guided me through everything and was supportive and kind. “Staff were very compassionate and kind. The only issue I found difficult was not knowing the time if the cremation. The lady who returned my loved one was absolutely lovely, thoughtful and very kind.”

However, just like any other crematorium, we’re not able to predict the exact moment when the committal itself will begin. We’ve chosen not to offer approximate times, as these could change significantly and may cause unnecessary worry. “Mum had previously taken out a funeral plan, some 10 years ago when our dad died. However, about three years ago, Mum decided to have a family chat with my sister and I about cancelling that plan and taking out a Pure Cremation plan instead. This not only gave her back the £4500 she had paid in advance but insured that one day, when the time came we as a family could celebrate Mum‘s life with her ashes when we all felt ready and without the emotion of an old-fashioned funeral. It was also £3000 less! Sadly, for us, the time came in June 2025. Following a very emotional and heartbreaking few weeks Mum passed away. From that moment on dealing with Pure Cremation was so simple and empathic. Every step of the way they treated us with dignity and respect. Mum died at home, so from collecting Mum‘s body to returning her ashes we were kept informed of what was happening and on what dates. I really cannot recommend the service they provide enough. It has made what is a very difficult time for our family far less stressful. Mum‘s ashes were returned by the most lovely young lady, Brooke. Unfortunately, we missed her phone call whilst she was on the way to us. She explained that she likes to ask what music the person she is returning liked, so that if we liked she could play it for them in the car. Mum‘s ashes arrived home in a beautiful degradable box decorated in a picture of lavender - the last time Mum went to the garden centre with my sister she had purchased three lavender plants as at this time she did not know she was so poorly. Brooke explained that they have a selection of pictures, but it brought us comfort to think that Mum had chosen the lavender picture. If you are thinking about a direct cremation please do not hesitate in using Pure Cremation. Wonderful attentive staff, beautiful crematorium and grounds, your loved one returned to you with care. The cost of the cremation plan is exceptional for the service that you receive and once fully paid nothing else will be added.”

“Pure Cremation has been wonderful from first to last. They kept me informed at all times and were very kind. There were no extra charges at all which made everything so much easier. I was told when someone would call and it was always on time. Rick made an appointment to bring the ashes and he made it a very easy experience. I have Pure Cremation for myself and I am telling my friends about. I certainly recommend the company to anyone interested in a lovely ending.”
