“My experience with Pure Cremation was somewhat mixed. They were fantastic when I first made contact with them and were very attentive during the couple of weeks that followed, calling me for updates regarding the green form and then letting me know when the committal was taking place. Unfortunately, the process went awry as we headed towards Christmas. The last time the customer care team member who was managing my uncle's cremation contacted me of her own volition was on the 13th December advising me that my uncle's committal would be taking place on the 16th December. I was advised that I would receive a call from the delivery team within 5 working days of the committal date to book in the delivery of the ashes. Needless to say, I didn't receive a call and so all subsequent contact was from my side - me chasing them to find out when my uncle's ashes were going to be delivered. On the 3rd January I called Pure Cremation and was told the ashes would be delivered to me on the 9th January. I did end up asking to speak to a senior manager the following day as I was very disappointed with the service I had received. I should not have had to keep calling them to find out what was happening and I don't feel that they managed my expectations. I appreciate that December and January are busy times but this is their bread and butter so they know that, they’re an experienced company within their industry and so they should have robust processes in place to ensure a seamless customer experience. Communication is key in this type of business but it was sadly lacking which is a great shame as the first part of the process was faultless and very professional so I’m not sure why it went so wrong and I don’t think Christmas can really be used as an excuse. Wishing to end on a positive note, Emma Soul who delivered my uncle’s ashes was lovely. She is clearly passionate about what she does and enjoys her job which is something of a rarity these days. She was very professional, personable and kind… thank you so much Emma.”

“Pure Cremation were absolutely amazing from start to finish. From help with choosing what was needed and right for the family. The team kept us informed constantly as to what was happening and showed nothing but empathy and concern throughout the whole process. I highly recommend them for a very professional service and being shown kindness throughout.”

“I didn't expect to be using Pure Cremation as soon as I did. So not having a clue what I needed to do, I was talked through everything by the lovely team at Pure Cremation, I really felt that they cared and were very respectful so I knew they would take excellent care of my Auntie and they did. I was kept up to date with everything, I never had to chase them up for answers, they always called me first. When it came to the ashes being hand delivered, it was done with ease and compassion. Thank you so much to everyone who dealt with me a Pure Cremation you made a horrible experience bearable!!”

“My Husband wanted just to be cremated with no frills. The ad for Pure Cremation came on the TV in May 2023. We discussed that this was what he wanted so he rang the number and everything was explained in a manner that we both understood by a very caring person. We paid in full. My Husband sadly died Dec 2023. I got in touch with Pure Cremation with one phone call, there was a lovely Guy on the phone who explained what was going to happen next. Everything went like clockwork, no undertaker, no cars, no flowers no nothing and Definitely no stress, I cannot believe how well it all went.”

“Simple enough process, staff were great however it took a few hours in a phone queue to get through to actually speak to someone to start process just after my dad died, this was upsetting. I also had to call a number of times to arrange to get my dad's ashes returned after 6 weeks”

“The service has been impeccable they got in touch straight away and kept me informed. The service was explained in straightforward terms and with respect to our feelings. Connor was lovely and guided me through the process with just the right level of contact. The ashes were delivered on time by a lovely man called Steve and the package was as expected and he gave Mum time to chat.”

“We had no idea what to expect as this was our first experience of a 'direct cremation'. Pure Cremation have been wonderful. Thoughtful, supportive, professional and kept us informed at every step. Add to this the very reasonable cost, compared to a full funeral, we would highly recommend them.”

“When my wife passed away I rang pure cremation who picked her up from the care home that night. After the collection they were fully engaged with me on all details and returned the ashes in a very tactful manner. A most highly professional company with excellent staff”

“Dad had mentioned a year or so ago about Pite Cremation, he was a man who did not like fuss. We were a little unsure I suppose because this is not ‘traditional’. However we respected his wishes when he was taken suddenly ill and passed away. We found Pure Cremation Respectful and caring to us and Dad right from the get go. Helpful and kept us informed throughout the process right up until Dads safe return to us. Thank you very much.”

“Sadly my father passed away on the 5th of December . The two gentlemen who came to Dad's bungalow very late at night ,were very respectful of my dad , and treated the family in such a caring , respectful ,and professional manner . I can not fault the services , from pure cremation , they communicated with me throughout the whole process , highly professional services . Young lady who delivered Dad's ashes yesterday was very professional and curtious. I have a pure cremation package myself , and have no worry's or concerns . Many thanks for making the process so easy , and not stressful .”
