Quick and professional service and response, however after first car wash and a manual one, one of the 3d letters fell off. I thought of returning but how would I drive without plates in the mean time!?! I bought super glue and stuck it back but the glue damaged the plate a bit.

Ordering the registration was very quick and easy and the new plates arrived very quickly. However the transfer took 6 weeks. This was far longer than expected and when I Rang and enquired what the delay was the people I spoke to, whilst not rude seemed to think this was normal and what was the problem.

the quick plate that attached to this company is not worth it.I paid for the number plate not received it for a week they claimed is in the post and postage was paid as well

I am not really happy with my purchase as the number plate on the listing has a different text to what the plate actually looks like. It can be misleading and does change the aspect of what was expected.

I was never told I needed to get my reg put on a retention certificate before putting my new one on so when I received an email saying to put my new reg on my car asap I did. I now have to pay £160 to get my old reg put back on, to be able to retain the reg and then reassign my new one.

Very prompt on receiving paperwork but really did not require number plates as I am in the motor trade as could have paid a lot less called to say I did not want them but no option but to have them.

Our service is an all inclusive service, which is why we sell the plates at the same time. It is obviously your choice where to buy your registration from, so I'm confused why you'd leave us an average review due to this, when you know when you place your order that this is part and parcel of it. Price, Quality & Process all good. Only negative point was lack of communication on delay in documentation. The delay, nearly 3 weeks was due to DVLA processing hold up which although outside PRIMO control was not communicated & when I contacted PRIMO was given very unsatisfactory response stating I was informed in the paperwork that the documentation would come separate to plates. It was only on responding to this e-mail I received a curtious response. As it happened I was not looking to fit plates immediately but would not have been happy had this been the case.

This company uses an Email system to notify it's customers of important information. The Emails sent to me were considered a security risk by my AVG Protection and consequently I could not read them so reverting to snail mail delayed the process of transferring my number plate. I wouldn't use this company again.

Unfortunately I'm very disappointed at your review, as you are essentially telling people not to order from us, which ultimately could cost people their jobs and liveliehoods, when the issue that you've experienced is with your antivirus on your computer. I'm afraid we have no impact on the settings on your computer, and therefore cannot influence how the emails that you receive are handled. It is a shame that your computer wouldn't receive our emails, but I understand that the number plate is registered to your vehicle still within the timeframes that we advise our customers. I don't believe a 3 star review of our service is justified. Regards The Primo Team
Easy transaction and good to deal with. The only thing that I did not like is that you are unable to speak to them over the phone it is just not an option.

Hi Judith, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and I'm very pleased that you were happy with the service that we provided you. However your point about phoning us not being an option is not correct - we are open Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm, and on Saturdays 10am to 330pm. Our website shows our telephone number on every page and we currently take around 150 phone calls a day from customers who want to purchase or have queries with after sales. I have just checked our call logs and can see that you tried to phone us at 8.09am on the 1st March which is when we were closed, and the recorded message that you listened to for 33 seconds would have advised you of this. Ok service. Paid for tracked delivery but apparently it was for the plates not the paperwork but website doesn’t make this clear & docs didn’t arrive for week after the plates.

I have taken the time to investigate this for you and I can confirm the following:- You placed your order for your registration on the 24th February and your updated certificate was received from the DVLA to us on the 28th. This was immediately despatched to you as advised at 11.24am via 1st class delivery. By the sounds of it the receipt of your certificate was delayed by the delivery time of the Royal Mail, and not via our process and therefore I do apologise on their behalf. Initially process simple and order came quickly however the plates orders were different from what came. Called and they apologised for error and said would send out again. Next delivery only one plate turned up and had to call them again. Asked to speak to a manager and did not get a response. Poor aftercare service but other plate eventually turned up. Wouldnt use again.

When I first contacted Primo, I spoke with a lovely lady in sales who talked me through the whole process in a friendly and professional manner. However, I was a little unsure about what I had to send back once I had received my V5 and I contacted Primo again, just to clarify, I pressed for “after sales “ and had the misfortune to speak with the most patronising man I have EVER spoken to in my life, “it tells you on the paperwork this, it tells you on the paperwork that. It is no wonder this man is in after sales as he would never make a sale with his attitude and way of speaking to people. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for this “man”.

Not a bad service but if you want to pay on PayPal and want to spread the payments over 3 months which is a great option especially around Christmas time you have to have the plates made by Primo and you can’t change the address to have them sent somewhere else so a set of number plates get posted through your letter box ! Really ruins the surprise

Hi Julian, Thank you for your review. With regard to ensuring your items are posted to you address when you order on finance that is for your protection. Unfortunately the world has a number of dishonest people who would take any opportunity to apply for credit in your name, and if you don't receive anything in the post to your address you're not going to be aware of the finance application. Therefore the rules from finance providers are that they are posted to your address, to ensure that it is for the correct person. I'm sorry that you think this is poor service, but I hope that you understand the reasoning behind it when it's for your protection. Thanks The Primo Team
No different to the other plate seller's also no paying for 1st class postage on your plates mine took a week to come waste of £6.99! Never had that issue anywhere else with Royal Mail 1st class, but Primo blamed it on them anyway!!!
