Ordered 3. Asked for ID 3 times. 3 times provided. Took £ for all 3 and refunded 2 immediately, as they thought it was 1 order. Phoned them to discuss about asking for ID 3 times and was met with someone who wouldn't listen and kept on about refund issues. Dreadful from start to finish.

I placed my order on the 30th of April and received it on the 17th of May after having to follow up on a number of occasions and there was always an excuse as to why I hadn’t received my order. No sense of accountability and managing customer expectations correctly.

Unhappy customer, I was informed that my transfer could not go through due to a typo error on my part, {Mr not Mrs - 1 letter typo) this was resolved by phone in seconds and although I have paid in full I was charged a further £50. the "standard fee" to correct despite me paying for a fully managed service, this I feel is an excessive charge and has spoiled the experience for me,I will not use or recommend this" service" again I expect more from a managed service especially as all docs were in order and verified on receipt by Primo by e-mail R,Harper.

Hi Robert, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. As your review is the worst possible score I have taken the time to investigate this for you. You are incorrect when you state that the details given were just one letter incorrect - it was a whole name. You had put Robert when the name should have been Margaret, which I'm sure you will agree is a lot more than 1 letter! We corrected this for you and I can see that the registration was then able to be assigned onto the vehicle the following day for you. It is a shame that your review doesn't state how good you said my colleague was on the telephone to you, how quickly everything was actioned for you (on your vehicle within 3 days), and how easy the process was, and that when you were on the phone to my colleague you said that the error was your fault. I'm very sorry that you believe our service to be the worst possible despite this. However, I hope that you enjoy your new registration on your vehicle. Regards The Primo Team
Ordered as a gift: 1) plates arrived with the wrong registration number, 2) the additional plate purchased was not enclosed, 3) Website & T/C's claim the Certificate of Entitlement delivered "within 3 - 7 working days"... didn't, 4) PRIMO L23 3AT inserted into the chosen border, which was not shown on the example online - looks awful & I would not have ordered with a border if shown online.

Terrible customer services. Charlie was rude and condescending. I’d rather have paid more money and been treat with respect. You get what you pay for I guess.

Very poor customer service, there was a very rude guy on the phone that left me fuming. Avoid if you can, plates are good but too luch attitude and I rather not say more on here.

I have taken the opportunity to listen to the 27 calls that you made into the company, and I would 100% back my colleagues following your vitriol towards them including physical violence. Our colleagues are here to help and support customers, but if bullied and threatened like you did do, they of course have the right to terminate the call. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM WORKERS ON THE PHONE SENT DOCUMENTS TWO TIMES AFTER ALL THAT NO PLATES OR CERTIFICATE SENT OR DELIVERED PROBABLY BOGUS COMPANY SET UP FROM HOME 😝

I can see that your order was despatched to you on the 29th November via economy delivery as ordered. We advised you of this. Delivery normally takes 5-7 working days for economy delivery, and despite the Royal Mail being on strike I can see that they have been delivered to you today, the 5th December. I'm once again sorry to hear that you feel our service to be poor, and you believe that we are a bogus company, but I can see that you've received what you ordered. Thanks The Primo Team

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm very sorry to hear that you've not received your plates and therefore I have investigated this for you. Using the tracking number that we issued to you on the 30th September via text and email, I can see from the Royal Mail website that the Royal Mail have attempted to deliver your plates the following day, the 1st October, but there wasn't anyone in to sign for it. They have left you a card for you to collect from the local sorting office. I would suggest collecting your plates asap from them. Thanks The Primo Team

COWBOY OUTFIT .SCAMMERS. I attempted to purchase XGZ 3786 online for £44 about a week ago & found it impossible to get past the payment section as the proceeding screen confirming payment wasn't evident evan after 30 mins of the transaction . So a few days later I called to find a dead tone on their tel number. My suspicions arouse when trying the number 10 more times ... tried again & I finally hot an answer only yo be told by a very arrogant man I now must £99 for the same reg no . I said I will not be duped like this & will report them .. Sent email fir a manager to call me but they never did . Its not the price that angered me its the principle.

Hi Tariq, Thank you for your review. I'm very sorry to hear of your issues so I have investigated this for you. I can see that you spoke to one of my colleagues on Friday afternoon so I have traced your phone number from this. I can confirm that there has only been one attempt at you phoning us from that number, which was at 15.32. All the calls coming into us are shown and therefore I can only assume that you were not dialling the correct number, which is why it was showing as a dead tone. We have had hundreds of phone calls coming through successfully last week, with no outages on our phone system being reported. When you did speak to my colleague you were advised of the price of the registration but then proceeded to argue with my colleague, claiming that because you had a screen shot of the price from a week ago we had a legal obligation to sell at that price. That is not correct, which my colleague informed you of, but you then started to get aggressive on the telephone. The price is very clear on our website at £99.99 for that registration. We have not tried to dupe you as you have quoted - we are a legitimate business with thousands of happy customers. I can also see that you sent an email at 16.59 on Friday afternoon demanding that a manager call you immediately. I am very sorry that nobody has phoned you whilst the office is not manned and closed during the weekend, but hope that the above response explains and confirms the situation for you. not impressed with their pricing bought a plate for my Audi A7 A7*** This cost me £272 all in. If I had wanted A7 with my initials like A7 CJM the price would have been many many times higher. Why is this for another plate with another 3 random letters. It really does not make sense. The whole business is a rip off

Surely the review should be based on what you DID purchase, the service that you received, the speed of delivery, the contact you had with our colleagues etc. Claiming that our "whole business is a rip off" is totally incorrect as if that was the case you wouldn't have received what you ordered. Over the years I’ve bought / transferred many private plates and not ever had it been so difficult, expensive and time consuming. There seemed to be costs that were hidden from the price of the plate as it was advertised. Not a pleasant experience, when making contact I got very little support or empathy.

Thank you for taking the time to give a review. I'm afraid I'm a little confused to your rating on the review as I have investigated this for you. When you placed your order online it showed you the cost of £426.08 at the very first search screen, and when you went through your order the only thing that you chose extra was for 1st class delivery which was £1.99, bringing the cost to £428.07. This is what you paid, and there were no other costs involved. You placed your order on Saturday 19th, your plates were despatched to you on Monday 21st (first day that postage could go out), and your certificate was received from the DVLA on the 30th and despatched to you straight away as advised. I therefore don't understand your comment about costs being hidden as everything was shown for you during the order process, and the only extra payment that you've made is on the 1st class delivery. I'm very sorry that you think the service that we provided is the worst possible service available, but I am struggling to understand why this is. The plate itself is good the service and after sales is terrible. They have not responded to my emails at all. They spoiled a surprise birthday gift. Will not use not recommend to anyone.

Hidden charges and very poor customer service. Would not use them again. If you go direct to DVLA the price is as you see it. These cowboys add extras which end up costing more than DVLA.

Not very helpful after I purchased my number plate, I also paid extra for primo to sort out the transfer as I didn't really understand what or how to do it, so after numerous calls to aftersales, I didn't think the customer service was good at all, telling me to read the paperwork I received for the plates, and charging me £50 extra to change the name of ownership of my plates before I even received the confirmation!! Definitely will not be going back to Primo!!

Hi Jonathan, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. As you have said it was the worst possible review to leave us I have taken the opportunity to investigate this for you. I must admit I'm a little perplexed at your review after listening to the calls. The last call that you made to us on the 8th was to say you didn't think you could put the plate on until you had received your V5C but my colleague confirmed to you that you could as you had received notification from us that everything was ok to do so. You then thanked him for a great service, but have subsequently left a 1 star review. The £50 charge was due to you informing us of the incorrect detail when you placed your order, which had to be corrected so that we could assign the registration to the vehicle. Your transfer was completed on the day of receiving your details and therefore I don't understand why you would leave the above review. However, I hope that you enjoy your new plates. I have not received my plates, I received the certificate but still no plates after 2 weeks. I am annoyed and frustrated as I need these.

This is due to people having to send their certificates to the DVLA in the post to enable their transfers to be actioned when they can't be done online. If you were in a rush for the certificate I'm surprised you ordered it with economy delivery - surely you would have ordered it with a more premium delivery service if you needed it quicker?
