Battery worked for a week and now doesn't charge

I ordered about £130 worth of batteries on 1st November, a Saturday. I received a despatch notification at lunch time on Tuesday 4th. Early on Thursday 6th I received a notification from DHL stating "possible packaging damage". Their tracking page said nothing more besides contact your sender for further info, which I did a couple of hours later. Up until this point Powertool World had done nothing wrong in my opinion and everything was within their power to fix. Friday 7th lunchtime: "We have contacted DHL to request for further information regarding the damage scan showing. They have been advised that they will need 2-3 hours for the report to be sent over". Monday 10th at 11pm I requested an update. Tuesday 11th, 9am: "we are still awaiting an update from DHL, we will request for the parcel to be returned to ourselves, confirm if you want a replacement or refund", 2 hours later, I stated I still wanted the batteries. I also requested they use any courier other than DHL. Up to this point, my only complaint is the slow comms turnaround. Understandable with Black Friday coming up. Things just went downhill from there though. Thursday 13th, just before 5pm: "We have noted that you would like a replacement issuing, the Returns Team will issue this as soon as the returning item has been processed." I replied around 9:30 on Friday 14th along the lines of "this isn't a return because I never received anything. I don't see why you need to introduce an additional delay in 'processing' a return" and "I think most businesses would just send the items paid for out of stock in this situation, given the customer has already been inconvenienced." Next reply was Wednesday 19th, 10am: "We have now received a response from DHL and unfortunately, they have not been able to locate the missing parcel. We have requested for your replacement to be dispatch as soon as possible and you will receive tracking information once it has been scan into the DHL network." I replied a couple of hours later pointing out I was getting a lot of promotional emails from them about Black Friday offering "free next working day delivery on orders over £100" I got an email on Saturday 22nds asking me to rate a named customer service operative. Til that point all the correspondence I had received was signed by somebody else. I pointed out that it was 3 weeks since I placed the order and 10 days since I confirmed I still wanted them. On Tuesday 25th I received another email, confirming it was dispatched on 21st and it was out for delivery. In fact I also received notifications from DHL that it was out for delivery on 24th, 25th and 26th and then back to the depot each day. On the 26th the excuse was "unable to access the address" They finally arrived on Thursday 27th, almost 4 weeks after ordering. My policy is to only give 1 star if I am unable to consume the product or service. PowerTool World have come closest to earning one star despite delivering in the end. Also: there is a phone number on the "contact us" page of their website. I don't believe anyone ever answers that phone line. No one ever did for me. Conclusions: • This business would probably got 5 stars from me if the original despatch had arrived the Friday after I ordered it. The original issue might not have been their fault. • They were unable or unwilling to address the issue though. I confirmed I still wanted the batteries on Tuesday 11th, while there's a next working day delivery on offer. If I had received the batteries that Friday, they may still have had 4 stars. • Ultimately, service just wasn't good enough. I wouldn't order from them again unless I was willing to wait a month for a hefty saving on price

I purchased 3 items from this company only 1 item arrived. I have tried on multiple times to contact via email and phone, they do not respond! The level of customer service is beyond shocking. I Suggest you look at the reviews on other sites. Do not use this company, they are quick to take your money and nothing else. I will unfortunately need to report as fraud to my card issuer for a refund.

Good price online and quick delivery. The drill received was too chunky for my needs with 5Ah batteries, but power tool worlds returns process was easy, fair and quick. Thank you, would recommend.

I purchased 2 grinders 4 batteries and 2 chargers. I only received 1 grinder 2 batteries and 1 charger tried several times via phone and email to contact yourselves to speak to someone. waste of time

Absolutely appalling customer service. No answer on phone line, and very poor email support. I purchased 10 grinding discs and when only 2 arrived I tried calling them with no answer. I then sent an email, only hearing back 3 working days later, with a completely useless reply saying that they had passed it on to their investigation team. I asked for them to hurry as I needed the items I had ordered - no response. Another 2 days later after sending numerous emails with no reply I received an email saying that they couldn’t find the missing items and that since they were now out of stock, they couldn’t send out replacement items! They offered a refund but once again, after many emails asking for them to send the refund and many days of waiting I finally received a part refund for the missing items. Overall a very poor and frustrating purchase, this being said after numerous previous orders I have made from them.
