Cannot fault the product and price my only complaint would be communication sent a email to find out we're product was and got know reply ended up ringing up my self to find what was happening with my order. Other wise very satisfied

Hi Sergiy, We're sorry that your experience with us did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We had a notice on our site between Christmas and New Year outlining deliveries for orders placed during this period would be made between the 4th - 6th January as we were closed. We'll make sure that this is clearer next year. We hope you will give us another chance and rest assured - if your order for a stock item is placed before 3pm on a normal working day, it will be delivered the next working day. your web site NEXT DAY DELIVERY, as does your email requesting a review I understand you were closed when I order, but I phoned on monday 4 jan. but did not receive the goods until wednesday 6 jan. this was my first order, will not use you a gain. roy p. lea

I didn't receive a VAT invoice before, with or after delivery. I didn't receive the Bosch promo code that was promised and therefore missed out on £15.00 cash back. Therefore I reluctantly rate Powertoolworld just two stars.

Order a saw 23rd dec. no confirmation of purchase or order sent by email. Rang everyday until 31st without reply & no indication of Xmas opening hours anywhere. Didn't reply to my email either. Saw came on 31st which I'm very happy with but still no receipt or correspondance.

Great prices. Very poor customer service. I missed an item from my order accidently. Sent an email trying to amend it, i didnt receive any response.

Ordered because of the price. Both items arrived next day (from different courier vans) but one item, although new, had some accessories missing. Powertool World did contact Bosch promptly but despite chasing for over 2 weeks it still hasn't been resolved. Its a shame because delivery was nice and quick, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired - I'm still in limbo with a tool I cant use. I think Ill shop locally from now on and spend a few pounds extra.

Hi Dobri, We experienced a technical issue the day you ordered, we did send those who would be affected an email stating that orders would be delayed by 24hrs. I have checked and you were on the list of recipients of this email, so we did make you aware of this issue. It’s very rare that these issues occur and I hope you can appreciate we did rectify the issue immediately; however it sadly did result in orders being delayed. Regards, Samantha.

Placed two orders within 24 hour period. One arrived as promised, the other has not turned up a week later and the branch manager seems totally uninterested in resolving the problem. They just blame their delivery company DPD instead of resplving the issue. Will never usd this company again.

Spoke with a salesman over the phone as I was about to order a makita drill online and wanted 2 extra batteries at the same time on a price match deal. I was told that he would talk to the boss in the morning and give me a call back. Waited for 2 days, got no call back so ordered the drill from power tool world and ordered the 2 batteries from another supplier. This took extra time which I do not have so disappointed in the lack of response from power tool world and they lost the sale of 2 BL1830's

Filled out order form ,but didn't realise half the info need for delivery was missing which made it a nightmare , order took nearly a week to be delivered.

Ordered a 110 v dewalt plunge saw got 240v.called next day told not in stock. Told at least a week that's a week ago still waiting

Price good, delivery quick, after sales support rubbish following a problem with a non rolling roller - was sent on a fruitless journey to the wrong Makita service agent to deal with a warranty issue. PTW didn't want know bout sorting it themselves. Had a Makita warranty issue with another bit of kit bought from Axminster Tools who dealt with the warranty issue themselves without any need for me to take faulty kit to local service centre. Won't buy again from PTW

For efficiency purposes we believed talking you through the warranty process would be the best solution and you seemed happy with this initially. This is the quickest way for the tool to be repaired and would take substantially longer if we were to pick it up and send it to Makita. We apologise for sending you to the wrong Makita service agent, we draw our information from the Makita U.K. website. Bought a Bosch multitool 10.8 V kit The LED battery check panel did not operate. I told them immediately upon receipt, but they just told me to claim under the Bosch warranty. They did not offer a replacement. They did not offer any other customer care solutions. I will buy from somewhere else in the future.

Hi John, I have looked into your order. Sorry we haven’t been more helpful. We have tested the same tool and the LED check panel does need to be pressed firmly in order for this to work, this is a Bosch design issue. If the LED panel becomes damaged due to the application of continuous pressure you will be eligible for a replacement from Bosch. Please be sure to extend your warranty to 3years at https://webapp3.bosch.de/warranty/registration/login-data!display.do. Thanks, Samantha

I was supplied a Bosch 36v 2.8 aH battery instead of a 4aH but it was probably because the box labels were incorrect and in fairness it was probably Bosch who were at fault. A swap was arranged via the courier and it was sorted in couple of days. I also returned a Bosch charger for the above at the same time, it was the larger version which did not suit my application and this was returned for refund at the same time. Sadly I still wait for my refund to the Paypal account for the charger. I have chased it but have been told its in the system! The Finance Dept is not so slick as the Sales Dept in sorting out problems. I have down rated because of this, otherwise the 4 aH battery supplied was excellent and was well priced against competitors

Hi Steven, As you sent the charger with the swap item and not via our returns policy or returns form, this has resulted in our system being unable to process the charger as a return. This has caused the delay in your refund but please be assured it is being dealt with. Regards, Samantha

Item received (Bosch Sander) was delivered in a damaged, tatty box with the security seal cut open. The sander itself had been used and was in a dirty condition. The supplier insisted that it was new, despite the photographs I took (and sent them) of its condition. To be fair, they did refund the item, but I was very disappointed and bought one (for much less) from another supplier.

Good price and you can pay via PayPal but we had to chase for an update on when the tool would be delivered several days after ordering. The tool then arrived but without the case. Which we're still waiting for.

Product arrived swiftly but was not working. Contacted powertoolworld only to be fobbed off and told that I had to speak direct to Hitachi. Clearly some basic knowledge of the sale of goods act and point of sale is needed. No thanks to you, I do have a working tool now. Hitachi customer care is EXCELLENT, your customer care is, well, NON EXISTENT. Shall not be buying from you again, will use one of your competitors as recommended by Hitachi themselves.
