Hi, I bought some tools last Friday and there's a missing saw blade. I sent an email on Monday explaining about this issue, today is Thursday and I didn't get any answer yet. I paid for a next day delivery , it means that I need this as soon as possible. Very disappointed with you!

Hi, we are really sorry for the confusion regarding your order.You ordered a circular saw & spare blade with a Saturday delivery which were delivered as arranged. Power tool were great but there delivery courier ukmail were really poor they missed three delivery times and do not seem to have a facility to contact them power tool please consider a second courier

Hi, we are really sorry that our courier (UK Mail) let us down on this occasion. We also offer a Next Day service which is handled by DPD and only costs £2.95 above our standard (UK Mail) 1-3 day service. Regards - Dave (Powertoolworld)

Never received a dispatch e-mail as claimed you would get. Because of this I was not home to take delivery, thankfully, when I arrived home I had just missed the courier and was able to ring the number on card.

Purchased an item which turned out to be faulty. Contacted Power Tool World through there webchat regarding returning the item and received no response. I emailed there help desk and have still to this day not had a response. Good prices but customer service needs to be improved.

The purchase I made was for a power source makita kit including a carry case, 4 batteries and a double charger. The plug charger was broken, the top pin on the plug, the one made from plastic was broken off and missing suggesting it was broken before even being placed in the box and sent to me. Also I had no receipt for my records. That kind of "that'll do" attitude towards your customers makes them go elsewhere next time.

I purchased a diamond core drill £237-00 from this company because I needed it urgently and they promised next day delivery. Drill arrived next day and I was delighted. However the carrying case had been damaged in transit. I phoned the company and explained in detail. I was told to take a photo of the damage, send it to them, they would then assess it, then if approved they would make a claim against the courier. if then approved I could send the drill and case back to them, and they would send me a new one. I suggested I only send back the case as I needed the drill the next day. I was told this was not an option, it had to be the drill as well. After an argument with sales person he spoke to a manager and I was offered £10-00 as compensation for the broken case. However they e-mailed me to say that I had to send photos of the damage before they would release the £10-00. Having had a van stolen with more than £5000-00 of power tools in it, I will not be buying any more replacements from Power Tool World and would advise anyone else thinking of using them, to think again. I wonder if this Review will actually appear on their web site, I think not, but you never know. Submitted by, Rob Hall, Hall Mechanical Services. Chelmsford.

Hi, we are really sorry that you are not happy with your recent purchase. For any damage caused in transit we would ask for photos to enable us to find the best solution both for yourself & as a separate issue to help our claim on the courier. purchased on Thursday 19th with next day delivery didn`t arrive for four days 23rd may and your delivery company (DPD) was poor also with tracking none existent then frozen in one place on their app, when it finally became trackable, (laughable) with delivery time not meet 4:15 to 5:15 then a new time of 8pm !!!!, a member of our staff waited for the goods for two days Friday and Monday, one item was a present required for the 21st may as a 21st Birthday present. very unsatisfied probable ex customer. I paid for next day delivery and they didn't deliver the three items I ordered even though I only ordered items in stock. They sent me an email late on the delivery day to say one small item was out of stock, but they never mentoned anyting about the rest of the order. I contacted them and they told me nothing was going to arrive, even the in-stock items. They never told me about delays and failed to mentioned the whole order was not going to arrive. The customer servce attitude was poor and I wouldn't use them again.

Drill advertised as NEW yet original seal broken patched a bar code. Drill package in a makita box instead of Bosch. Overall, refurbished items selling as new

We sell many brands & try to reuse/recycle as much outer packaging as possible , so it is possible that your purchase was wrapped in a different manufacturers carton. Two things that really bothers me from this company 1) they lied to me.(they told me over the phone before I Bought the item that it was made in Japan. WRONG it was made CHINA). 2) their poor service..(I paid next day delivery and the didn't sent the item in that time. Results I have to hire a tool from a friend. Even worse I have to disputed to get my postage money back.) I am sorry but I can't recommend this company..

Payed for Saturday delivery, eventually got my second fix nailer on the Tuesday. No sign of a refund on the £6 + that the postage cost me!!

Don't use pay pal to pay them as you will wait a bit 3 weeks for the item If anything is out of stock they will not send the rest of your order and will not contact you regarding this

Purchased a Makita 18v angle drill. Used once for 5 20mm holes in joist using auger bit. The drill ran very fast, by time 5th hole was finished the drill was too hot to touch, smoking and smelling of burnt plastic. Phoned power tools who said get in contact with local Makita service engineer, which I did. They then told me to speak to Makita warranty, who Said to get back in contact with Powertools and as was sold to me 7 days earlier, they have a legal obligation to deal with it for me. I phoned Powertools back and explained this, they told me this was incorrect and Makita did not collect warranty problems from them, they suggested phoning another service centre. Instead, I called Makita back who said they have had problems with Powertools (C G Fixings Ltd) before and to save me wasting anymore time they would arrange a direct collection from me. Sadly Powertools did not resolve my problem and basically did not offer any exchange or even to have a look at the drill for me, so I will not be using them again.

The order was very easy and the product is what I ordered and it works fine. The delivery however was delivered to the wrong address. The old lady at that address walked to the correct delivery address to tell my father that I had a delivery which had been left in her bin shed. I would like to know why it is not possible to deliver to the correct address?? Hi Dave, The information that DPD gave you is incorrect. They delivered 2 parcels and both were for me. The homeowner was in and they did not knock but just left both parcels, your one in the outside bin store and my other parcel outside on a main road. the elderly lady had to walk to my parents address and get my elderly father to come and collect both parcels. Very disappointed with the delivery service on this occasion.

I have rated this as poor because the item arrived in a box with no padding. Therefore the impact driver rattled around in the box with no protection. However, there was no damage and the item works perfectly. Your prices are good and there are several other purchases that I would like to make, but I would be wary in case of damage through poor packaging.

I could have bought the bosch drill for £99.00 elsewhere but when I asked your sales man for a price match he asked me to wait while he checked. Few minutes later came back and mumbled to me that both competitors i don't think they got them in stock. However afterwards I checked again and one said is in stock and the other said to me it will take two to three days before they can send. Now I am at a loss of £7.49 which i feel i should be compensated. Regards John
