“I bought 2 x Makita BL1850 18V 5.0 AH Li-on Batteries for a Christmas present with delivery due on 20th December. They did not arrive as the address had not been put on from the company. The courier company DHL contacted me to say they only put house number and post code on, so this could have been varyng addresses. After contacting power tool world numerous times, and receiving rude, blunt and differing responses I was finally refunded after 4 weeks waiting, numerous emails, even though they knew I had not received them I was finally told I would have to wait for DHL to return them to them I then had to wait for them to be checked back in to their stock. Not only did my lad not get his present, the attitude of this company was disgusting. I would suggest you do not use them. Worst company I have ever dealt with in my life of 60 Years”

Hello Lynne We’re sorry to read your review and to hear about your experience. After reviewing the order, the parcel was dispatched from our warehouse on time and the shipping label was generated using the delivery details provided at checkout. Unfortunately, the courier was unable to complete the delivery and the parcel had to be returned through their network. As the item had not been delivered, we arranged a refund once the parcel was confirmed as being returned within the courier’s system. While we understand this process can feel lengthy, we are required to wait for the parcel to be returned or confirmed lost before issuing a refund. We’re sorry that this situation meant the item did not arrive in time for Christmas and apologise for the frustration caused during the process.
