“expected my delivery nex day. recieved message from dhl 2 days later saying it was collected and would be delivered on the Wednesday. rearranged work to be in to sign to a recieve a message saying there was a delay. tried to contact ptw by phone on numerous occasions with no answer. i sent emails but didnt get a reply for 3 days later. i recieved an email apparently from DHL apparantly i owed them money as the supplier hadnt paid enough, tried to ring DHL, but they told me to go to supplier, again couldnt contact anyone. i told ptw, i no longer actually needed the item as it was for a job that by now i had finished and would like a refund and i had the parcel dropped off on monday, nearly a week late. and of course i had to be in to recieve it etc. i saved £20 on buying my item but really wished i had bought local. The experience was stressfull, lack of customer support, and disgracefull. i was offered a £10 discount on my next order, but refused it on the grounds that i will never ever use your company again.”

“I purchased a dewalt tyre inflator and was impressed with the service and price and of course the tyre inflator is a very useful tool. I was so impressed I purchased a second unit for my son which I received the next day . My thanks to the power tool world team.”

“Orders a circular saw early on Friday 31st October for delivery Monday 3rd. Didn’t arrive. DHL said they’ll deliver the Tuesday. Nothing. Wednesday tried calling DHL no reply to phone or email. Called PTW customer service was too busy to take calls, even 9am in the morning. Emailed them, didn’t reply. Messenger they did reply saying they’ll into it. No response of either company’s on the Thursday or Friday. So messaged PTW to cancel my order and I wanted a refund but they said their will have to get it delivered back to them before refund. Finally got my refund Friday 14th November. PTW a total shambles, why have a customer service line if you don’t answer it DHL are the worst delivery company So will never buy from them again.”

“The prices seem pretty good and free delivery over £100 (which most tools generally are) seems great. But the DHL Parcel service is terrible. Delays, odd delivery timings - loaded on vehicle 12:38 for delivery up to 8pm and of course they didn't show up - and the customer service, by email at least, is very slow. Min. 48hr reply and then another days wait between. If you need something quickly pay a bit more and use someone with a decent courier or collect locally.”
