Took three scheduled visits to finally get our charger installed. First visit was a no-show with no explanation offered as to why the engineer did not arrive. Upon the second scheduled visit the engineer arrived without the correct tethered-charger unit on his van, so could only part-complete the installation. Charger was finally commissioned on the third visit. Much confusion about the additional key-lock which I'd paid for. Charger is working well and looks good, but would consider using BP Chargemaster or EO as alternatives in the future due to poor service from sub-contractors.

It took about 8 weeks to organise and I had to have a lot of expensive work done by my own electricain because you would not do the cable-laying. No off-set was given against this cost. (Cannot do your video thing at the bottom.) The man who finally came today to do the last connection was excellent and extremely helpful.

Ordering process torturous, Communication below standard eg 4th May email. "Good news etc" ..........."we will contact you in the next ten days etc" Nobody contacted me. Several weeks later still no contact so phoned. Told that "we will call you back" No call received. Received email with date then later received phone call and was asked same questions about the installation that I had gone through at length during ordering process. Excellent installation work carried out by your fitter Matthew Prior but, to my dismay, was unable to commission because I couldn't show him where gas and water was earth bonded and, amazingly, Pod Point had not equipped him with along lead meter! Consequently at the last minute I had to callout my electrician to confirm.

There were communication difficulties with the form filling. I had to submit the photos three times, and I think emails had somehow gone astray. The installation on the day was excellent, the engineer was very professional helpful and friendly.

I had provided ample information, floorplans and photos of my set up. First electrician arrived 3pm on my date. Roughly lifted some floor boards before declaring he couldn’t do this and I needed a second visit. He left (floorboards off) and a second person Liam came two days later. He was evidently more experienced and was able to quickly and cleanly do my install. So, two days off work which wasn’t necessary, had anyone actually read all the information that you request from customers.

I disagree entirely on the paying for, ladders or extra workers this is the work of the organisation to ensure that all the equipment is supplied. The installation was professionally done but the engineer waited for 45 minutes before getting a call back from the company who were unable to sort the issue of the device not working correctly. As the customer I had to ring for help who provided the correction to the equipment for it to work.

The installation itself was 5 star but the customer service and communication at the start was dreadful. I know lockdown was an issue but I paid and signed up at the end of February and have had my installation now in mid july

Was advised installation would be between 8am and 12 noon. Although ready from 0715 Engineer did not show. Had to complain to get action. Engineer arrived at 1350 but I had taken the morning off work to facilitate visit. If I had not been available to allow access I am sure I would have been invoiced accordingly. I am interested how you will plan to make amends for your shortcomings as I had to forgo a mornings work.

Overall only 3 star - because you didn’t show up for your first appointment & didn’t call to let me know so I waited in all day for nothing. Actual installation on July 8th was 5 star - very helpful engineer who did a very tidy job - score is no reflection on him

Pre-installation process was time consuming and painful - recommend having a qualified electrician available to help you confirm whether fuse box/wiring set up is suitable prior to installation. Actual installation was very quick and engineer very helpful and efficient!

The limitations of the Pod Point app were not explained i.e. inability to control the duration of charging. The Keylock charge was not explained. I now understand that retro fitting will incur an additional installation cost in addition to the item cost.

Not very impressed with Pod Point. We appreciate that we are in the middle of a pandemic but the service and communication left a lot to be desired. The installer, however, a third party contractor, couldn't do enough to please us and give us the service we needed. Pod Point could learn a lot from him.

The POD point product is excellent. Though, the ordering process, appointment scheduling, cleanliness during the installation etc. need some improvement.

First installer stated option couldn’t be done but once second installer arrived he highlighted it was possible with a can do attitude. This resulted in the pod point going in desired location. Unfortunately, the wire placement in the property I feel could have been done better with less wiring on show and with less impact on the outlook of my property.

Your installer was amazing. 5 stars all the way. We own an MG dealer and I want to try and be constructive. Sadly your first touch when arranging was poor. Seamless it was not... Your online ordering system wouldn't allow a submission without payment details despite it being a free charger from MG. I put the order number as I was advised and hoped it would realize it was a free charger, sadly you took a payment resulting in a chasing around to get a refund. Something I heard this time and time again from our own customers. Your e-signing is almost impossible to understand and require a call for someone to guide me through it. So 5 stars for product and fitment, but I will be honest very nearly gave up in the ordering and went to Rolec. We continue to recommend Pod Point to our customers as we think it is the best product, and hopefully things will improve from the ordering point of view.

The ordering process was smooth and the submitting the OLEV grant info was straightforward. A mistake was made during installation of the Pod Point which very nearly caused serious damage to my consumer unit. The damage caused was repaired and the job was completed successfully. The installation area was left in a clean and tidy state after completion of the job.
