“Having used Plane Parking in the past we thought we would try it again as we are NCP customers. We arrived at the gate and the Number Plate Recognition picked up our vehicle and gave us a ticket. We found a space and the wife went for the bus whilst I parked. The driver was very patient and waited on me. No problem on return at 03.00 am. Ticket in and barrier opened.”

In Scotland we follow a road signage which is exactly the same as all other UK countries.

“Really easy and inexpensive parking close to Edinburgh airport with frequent bus transfers. Did not have long to wait on either departure or arrival. While the actual parking areas are loose stones the passageways in between are fully tarmacked and easy to move around with luggage.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.
