Paid for a service with a shuttle bus. Arrived with very poor signposting of where to actually park, and what was official ‘long stay’. When we parked, there was again no signposting for where to get the bus to the airport. When we found the shuttle bus stop, it had signs saying no shuttles running and just to walk. Terrible experience and not at all worth the money, poorly communicated and signposted and shocking no shuttles when this is the service we paid for.

The scam continues........, so paid £43 for 5 days parking and then Ryanair cancel the return flight. Which means extra 2 days before returning to car for which Plane Parking now want £40. And joke of it all the attendant says claim it off Ryanair. Are they all in it together?? Simply won't be using either again.

I leave my car at the parking station at great condition. But then when I went to take it away. My car was all over in scratches, from the luggage trolleys.

Poor signage to plan parking. Then when you get there it’s closed. Re-directed. In exit we were being charged double the price! Shocking !

When we arrived at the plane parking, there was a sign saying we had been ‘upgraded to the long stay carpark’. We then went to the long stay car park where both barriers were saying closed. We drove around just in case we had missed another entrance and returned to the long stay where a queue had formed. I got out of my car and went to the barrier where a car had rang the service desk only to be informed that the long stay car park was full! There was no sign stating this, nor any member of staff informing customs of this. We were assured we could stay in the short stay car park for no additional fee. This whole saga took 50 minutes and was incredibly stressful. Disgusting customer service.

As we arrived at plane parking we found the entrance blocked ,as it was quite dark at 3:30am did not notice the sign telling us to park at the long stay carpark until we revisted the blocked off area a second time. a simple email could have made this experience a lot simpler before arriving. Because I was sent to the long stay I was charged an extra £7 to exit the carpark because our luggage was delayed from the flight.

I wouldn’t recommend or use here again, i paid 3 weeks before parking, on arrival back to pick up car, tried to leave by inverting ticket and it say you now due £242 for your stay, i gad to reverse the oneway system to go to one of the ticket bus booths, called for help waiting for what seemed like 5/10 minutes before someone came on, i told them the problem the lady asked for my car registration which was not showing up, asked for my booking reference which was not showing up, i my last name, to wich that apparently showed up, the lady then said that should be it now, so drove of the exit tocket which indeed it did work, but we just came off a long flight then had to drive 4 hours to get home so could of really been done without this carry on, this is the first & last time i will be using this, I always book outside airport parks which ill be sticking to in future

Firstly, you’ve got a 10 minute walk to the airport - not great when you’re a blue badge holder. Worse than that, I was charged £33.99 for my stay, but because Ryanair incurred a 3 hour delay to the return journey, I had to pay a further £16.50 at the barrier, which I am not at all happy about.

Difficult to find, when we arrived we were redirected to long stay as car park shut but even this was further away from terminal than we expected. A transfer bus would have been good. When leaving the parking at end of stay we were informed that we owed £198.00 although our booking was prepaid. This was sorted out via intercom. It is unlikely we will use this parking again.

We had appalling experience at the Edinburgh long stay car park. By no fault of ours, the flight was delayed by over 3h which in turn meant that we missed our car pick up time. Instead of getting charged for extra 3h, we got charged £75 same as 2 day parking. Payment machines wouldn't take credit or debit cards and requested the payment in coins. Airport customer service team wasn't helpful either and wouldn't explain why we are being charged for 2 days rather than extra 3 hours. It took us more than 20min to exit the car park. I will reconsider using this car park ever again as it was a really stressful experience and caused us a lot of anxiety at 4am!

I pre-booked parking for an urgent business trip to Ireland. On arrival at Plane Parking the compound was closed and signs outside advised that I had been "Upgraded" and was diverted to the 'Long Stay Car Park'. The system there didn't recognise my car and incorrectly recorded my car as SK61 MFV before I was compelled to accept an entry ticket for pay as you leave parking. On return from Ireland that evening, there was no facility to redeem my prepaid amount. In order to exit, I had to pay £40. Total parking from 5.30 am to 10.30 pm ended up costing me £64.00. Should have gone to Secure Airparks as for this price I would have been transported to and from the terminal. Shoddy set up and very poor value for the price.

I foolishly assumed I was booking with park safe next to the airport terminal. The email started park safe and the video of how to use park safe stated ‘park safe’. However when we arrived at the park safe area we were told that it was in fact not the correct car park and free steward intimated that this is a regular occurrence. We didn’t use the car park he directed us to as it was far to far for my mother to walk from. I feel you are duping customers into believing they are parking with Park Safe on site. I won’t be making that mistake again.

I didn’t use it in the end as the ‘free upgrade’ to long stay is a con. Long stay is too far for me to walk as I’m injured and is a demotion, not an upgrade.

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I can confirm the long stay car park is closer to the terminal than Plane parking. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Would I ever use you again ?. I changed vehicles at the turn of the year and amended my details with you. You acknowledged this. We arrived at Edinburgh after a 2 hour drive only to find that your parking area had been taken over as a covid vaccine site.I can accept this but did you bother to notify us NO. We were “upgraded” to the airport long stay car park to which there were no directions from your compound. There were no transport busses to the airport terminal which we had paid for with you. Hence a 20 minute walk in the rain. On our return at 10:30 pm again without a bus and another 20 minute walk in the dark we arrived at the exit barrier to be greeted with a £177 parking fee because you had not informed the long stay people of our vehicle change. Fortunately the long stay people understood how incompetent you are and allowed us to exit. So in answer to my question “would I ever use you again” never in a million years and I would advise any one else against using you. The words incompetent bunch of cowboys comes to mind

No shuttle service from Long stay, paths not clearly indicated to walk. Really bad on return late at night. Felt like 3rd world airport arrival.

Hi Mo, Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 6–8-minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them. The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

There was no plane parking after driving around for some time following the signs for plane parking I eventually parked in the long stay car park. Why was there no info to say it wasn’t available after paying.

Hi , we paid £149 but were charged another £15 on leaving the car park . The flight landed on time however the luggage was a one and a quarter hour wait at the baggage carousel to which Jet 2 apologised for over the tannoy . Not really the best to be penalised for something out with out control

Hi Steven, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear that as a result of a baggage delivery delay you incurred additional charge. The baggage delivery process is the responsibility of each airline and their contracted handling agent. I would encourage you to reach out to your airline regarding the matter. Thanks, Customer Support Team
