“I booked the parking about 10 days ahead.
The barrier at the entrance stayed down, I thought it would recognise the reg no I had provided. We took a ticket and it opened up. We found a space suitable for a wheelchair user (roof box for wheelchair with mechanism to load and off load wheelchair.
The bus came within minutes at both ends of the journey and both drivers were attentive and courteous, putting a ramp down for the wheelchair.
Again we were lucky as there were no vehicles either side of us upon our return so that was easy for the wheelchair user/driver to access the car.
At the exit we used the parking card that we’d been given upon arrival. It said that we had over stayed and were due £120, I was able to contact Plane parking by pressing the button on exit and the problem was rectified. Barrier went up and we left without paying any additional charge. Phew!”

“Simple, pay online, turn up, take ticket, park, stand at bus stop in car park, max 10min wait, drop off next to terminal, return to same point as drop off, get on plane parking bus, get off at same spot as got on, number plate recognition allows exit. Ticket is more for further proof if any problems or if trying to check out earlier than planned.”
“We used Plane Parking at Edinburgh Airport 5 times this year. Easy to find the Plane parking and then always a space to park. The Courtesy bus is good with the dropoff and pickup point being very close to the terminal.The bus drives are very good and will stop for someone running for the bus. For the size of the parking area it really needs more bus stops. Always a good price.”
“Everything was fine, good price and a short distance from the airport.
My only suggestion is that you add markings on the floor or other signs to make it easier to remember where you parked your car.”
