As advised in your booking confirmation, Plane Parking is currently non-operational during the winter season and that you have been upgraded to the long stay car park. As advised on the sign it states 'pre booked? you have been upgraded' and I can confirm the upgrade details are on your booking confirmation.
The bottom statement on the sign is for customers who have not pre-booked therefore this would not be applicable to you.

“We found the car park very easy after searching on Google maps . Hardest but was finding an empty space , that took 10 mins of circling. So leave plenty time for any flights . Short walk there and back and will definitely use again .”
“When we left the gate did not open and they demanded an additional £165! Had to then speak to someone and go through the booking details to finally be able to get out. Very worrying time.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“Ok but poorly sign posted to find the exit and also when returning on foot. There were multiple cars parked on double yellow lines as people too lazy to walk from area at extremes of the car park where there were empty parking spaces. Also baggage trolley drop off areas not markedj”

“Good value, within a short distance of airport. A little more detail would be good regarding what to do with ticket etc as I had prepaid but wasn't sure if ticket was valid or not.”
“Was upgraded to Long Stay as Plane Parking was closed, however there were hardly any spaces available in Long Stay with people parked on pavements, etc. Eventually found a space, and the short walk to the terminal was handy. The exit procedure from the car park after our stay was efficient and would recommend the car park in general.”
“I'm sorry to say that I am very disappointed with Plane Parking. On arrival, the park was closed using the intercom we were told to make our way to the long stay car park.
Again, no one was there. We parked, not knowing if this was OK or not. Again, there was no one on site on our return Saturday afternoon 11 Feb.
Considering your site is being sold as secure parking. I am very disappointed as i was charged an extra full day as our flight was brought forward.”

“Great place to leave a car near Edinburgh airport. I would suggest paying more attention if on reservation is mentioned "upgrade to Long Stay". This can save a little detour.”
