“I paid for parking £62.99 my booking reference was 2BAU099ZP. I was charge £180 to exit the parking we tried the buzzer no one answered we had a bus and two cars behind us so we couldn’t do anything but pay it! I am going to take legal action on this as I think it is absolutely disgusting! I will never use your service again and will never recommend to anyone else.”

“Would not book again. Had to wait 40 minutes to be picked up from the airport. Couldn't get through to anyone on the phone. When the bus did arrive, everyone pilled on .Bus was absolutely jam packed. No apologies or explanation why. Just as well it was not raining .”
Thank you for your review. Due to the royal highland show last week there was more traffic and congestion on the roads surrounding the airport which affected all traffic around the airport including the shuttle bus to/from plane parking.

“After booking our parking online, we got back to get our car at exactly 02:45 in the morning and were charged £180 for the 8days parking we had already paid. We were booked up until 0400 that morning. We are still waiting a response on our refund.”

If you are aware that you are going to overstay your booking outside of the grace period of 6 hours then we do recommend that you make a new booking for the additional time that you require otherwise, you will be subject to an overstay charge which is charged at the non-booked roll-up rate.

When it was advertised, it was four minutes walk to the terminal building in Edinburgh
As it was about 3 o’clock in the morning, signage was difficult to Follow, I tried to get in the car park, but it wouldn’t let me, so I thought it was the wrong one. ended up I think at the car park, which was about a male or beer from the terminal, don’t get me wrong. The bus driver was amazing and waited on me while I park my car after a long delays I got the car park barrier and said I was due £80, I pressed the telephone button, took ages to answer, then the guy was quite rude and abrupt saying I was in the wrong car park, which I had no idea what he was talking About
In the end, It sort of worked out okay but I’m a bit reluctant to book with plane parking again, it wasn’t a great experience
I’m just being honest here

“Going on holiday plane parking was great. Coming back we must have waited about 45 mins for a bus that’s meant to be every 12mins. No number to call. The queue was getting longer and longer, our plane was about 20 mins late in landing, it was early hours of morning we arrived then had to wait in the bus, when it did come no apologies from driver, he just kept cramming people on the bus, it was ridiculous, have emailed the airport, still waiting for a proper reply, not an automated email. Definitely won’t be using them again.”

“The ANPR failed to recognise my number plate on entry & I then had to get help to leave the car park on exit.
Also there was no shuttle bus when we arrived back at the airport & one man with a car was shuttling 3-4 people at a time. This is utterly ridiculous.”

I can see that our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

If you have booked refundable parking this can be cancelled up to 24 hours before your booking is due to start. As advised within the terms and conditions, if you cancel less than 24 hours before your booking starts you are unable to receive a refund.

“The signs were poorly marked. I have parked at the wrong space. This resulted in paying 55 pounds extra on the day of collecting the car. The roads to the car park were dangerous to drive with so many potholes and difficult to drive.”

“The plane parking website was appalling It never explained it was Fast Parking Should have stated FAST PARKING at top of printed off tickets NOT Plane Parking !!Extremely confusing Please change it to say FAST PARKING! Fast parking was BRILLIANT once we realised where to actually park !”

Plane Parking is a booking channel where when you input your dates and times you will be shown numerous options and I can see that you selected FastPark. You are them prompted to confirm your car parking selection before paying for your product. You are then sent a booking confirmation which confirms your car park of choice (FastPark) and also includes the directions to your chosen car park.

“I had a pannck attack the day before departure so had to just abort my travel plans. However I found it impossible to contact plane parking to ask for refund so won't be using them again or maybe. Their site doesn't have a contact number that actually works and they just act as a middle man to send you to different car parks at airport. No contact number that works and no email but they're quick enough to take your money”

I can see that you booked into the Long Stay car park which is operational however it sounds like you are referring to Plane Parking which closes during the winter season however you were not booked into Plane Parking therefore it sounds like you have tried to enter the wrong car park.
