“We've been getting "special occasion" meat from Pipers Farm for several years and have found the service, reliability and, not least, the quality of the meat to be unfailingly superlative. We have this year's Christmas order in and are expecting it later this week. However, we recently cooked a smaller joint of rolled, boned pork shoulder. The meat was beautifully tender and had the flavour you only get from happy pigs, but the joint gave out a huge amount of fat and left us with only just enough meat for a single meal for two! We always cheerfully pay the money for great quality, but this did not at all represent good value, unfortunately. In the past we've managed a roast dinner then enough for cold the next day, but not this time!”

“So far I can only review the ordering and delivery process as I ordered two ducks for Christmas and they are in the freezer. We are looking forward to tasting them after reading all the positive reviews online. Ordering was easy and the ducks arrived beautifully packaged in their 'woollen' coats and ice packs.”

“Highly recommended. Great selection of products, I truly enjoy milk and butter and the amazing flavour of grass-fed beef and chicken meat without that weird taste that supermarket meat has from super medicated and grain-fed animals. My only wish is that at a certain point in the future have less plastic packaging and the sausages be made without seed oils but with olive oil or just fat. Delivery spot on.”

“Decided to buy from Pipers Farm as I will only buy free range meat and I was looking for a mail order company who shares my values. Not only do they produce really high welfare free range produce they also have information regarding the slaughtering. I firmly believe that animals for food deserve the best life possible and when the time comes, they should be treated with respect and not subjected to stress as is the case with intensively reared stock. The chicken I ordered came frozen and in individual portions which is a great idea, the only question is the volume of plastic used but I guess I cannot have it all. Will definitely be ordering more from Pipers Farm, amazing.”

“Recently received the large mutton parcel. We’ve eaten the chips and the taste was incredible! Keeping the leg of mutton for larger crowd. Products were still well frozen when they arrived so well done. Would definitely recommend.”
