“The reason for ordering from you was to try your black pudding. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with it. Although it had good-sized pieces of fat, it had virtually no taste. There was no aroma from the pudding being cooked. When I was a teenager about 65 years ago I could smell black pudding being cooked throughout the house. I have bought black pudding from several different sources. I have been uniformly disappointed with the products.”

“I have been buying meat from Pipers farm for many years and it has been without exception, of excellent quality. We have often served it to friends and family and regularly get comments about the superb flavour and tenderness of the meat. We have also enjoyed cheese from their artisan producers and I am really pleased to see they have now started a venture with Mitch Tonks, in whose restaurant we have enjoyed fabulous fish and seafood. I am looking forward to try some of the fish from our first order in the next few weeks! I admire Pipers farm’s continued support of farmers and small producers of sustainable meat, dairy and now fish.”

“This was our first experience of ordering from Pipers Farm, based upon the recommendation of the "Rockfish" company that we have used several times this year for a variety of fish. We ordered two Sirloin steaks, three Racks of Lamb (as the weight quoted wasn't very high) and a Chateaubriand steak. We were surprised when the meat arrived all frozen. We hadn't noticed this on the order form, nor anywhere else on the website. We had assumed that all the meat was fresh and, although Pipers Farm said that we could refreeze the meat if it had started to thaw, we didn't want to take the chance. The Chateaubriand was excellent, the Sirloins were below the weight we wanted once we had cut a 50g chunk of fat off each one, but otherwise ok, and the three Racks of Lamb were all different weights so we had to compromise the cooking to a certain degree. Such are the problems of buying meat online.”

“Highly recommend Pipers Farm for the quality of the food and exceptional customer service. The burgers I purchased recently were delicious and a great alternative to our usual bbq fare. The ribs were equally excellent. One product was incorrect and with just one short phone call it was resolved; this is the kind of customer service which sets Pipers Farm apart. I will definitely continue to purchase from them.”

“The fish had defrosted and I had to cook and eat it that day! I checked our cctv and the delivery was left on the doorstep at 1009am and I arrived home at 1040, very surprised to find it had defrosted in that amount of time.”

“Generally meat is wonderful. Bit disappointed at the weekend, did the Flat Iron steak as you recommended but we thought it was very tough, not a lot of flavour as in your other cuts of steak.”
