Hi David, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear that the product did not cure as expected, particularly when it delayed work in the middle of your home. PermaCOAT PRO One Coat Epoxy DPM is a two-component epoxy system that typically becomes ready for overcoating within 4–6 hours and reaches full chemical cure within 7 days when applied under the correct conditions. If areas remained soft after 7 days, this can sometimes be caused by factors such as incomplete mixing of the two components, incorrect mixing ratios, application outside the recommended temperature range, contamination on the substrate, or excessive moisture conditions requiring a different application approach. The product should be applied immediately after mixing, and both the ambient and floor temperature should remain above 10°C during application and curing. Without knowing the exact site conditions, it's difficult to say what caused the issue in your case, but we'd genuinely like the opportunity to help. “I’ve used Permagard a few times now, for woodworm fluid and an epoxy one coat damp proof. The orders are dispatched quickly and products easy to use. We had a problem in an old house with rising damp and the one coat really seals the damp and creates a sound barrier. The customer service is really good, they are always helpful and ready to help so thank you Permagard”

“We recently used PermaSEAL PRO MP 2C on a live project and have been genuinely impressed both with the product itself and the support received from Permagard. The technical team were incredibly helpful in assisting us with obtaining the information and documentation required by LABC/Building Control, which made a significant difference during the approval process. Their response times were excellent, communication was clear, and they understood the practical requirements from a contractor’s perspective rather than simply supplying a product. The product itself appears very versatile and well thought out, particularly for projects requiring confidence in below ground or retaining waterproofing applications. As a construction company carrying out refurbishment and structural projects, reliable technical backup is just as important as the material itself, and Permagard certainly stood out in that regard.
