Hi Ryan, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you felt disappointed after finding what appeared to be a cheaper alternative. The product you purchased, PermaSEAL 8 Geodrain, is not directly comparable with the membrane shown in your photo. PermaSEAL 8 Geodrain is a two-layer drainage product with a geotextile filter layer bonded to the HDPE membrane. This filter layer is an important part of the product’s design, helping to prevent silt from entering the drainage cavity while allowing water to drain away effectively. From the photo provided, the alternative appears to be a standard dimpled membrane without this bonded geotextile layer, so there is a significant difference in the construction and intended function of the two products. We appreciate that this may not be immediately obvious when comparing products and prices online. “Easy to use website with a lot of interesting and useful information which allowed to to make an online order with confidence. The products ordered were delivered promptly in suitable packaging. “Have used microshield ultra on many occasions in the past 9 years , always found it to be a fantastic product , I have tested it a few days after application & the brickwork was totally waterproof , would recommend this product all day long ….!!”
