“Great doing business with Permagard. As a DIY at best I was advised by a builder to use this product rather than an off the shelf one at a local builder’s yard. Quick delivery and great service. I had wrongly put in my post code and they picked this up and emailed me for the correct address before posting.”

Hi Ryan, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you felt disappointed after finding what appeared to be a cheaper alternative. The product you purchased, PermaSEAL 8 Geodrain, is not directly comparable with the membrane shown in your photo. PermaSEAL 8 Geodrain is a two-layer drainage product with a geotextile filter layer bonded to the HDPE membrane. This filter layer is an important part of the product’s design, helping to prevent silt from entering the drainage cavity while allowing water to drain away effectively. From the photo provided, the alternative appears to be a standard dimpled membrane without this bonded geotextile layer, so there is a significant difference in the construction and intended function of the two products. We appreciate that this may not be immediately obvious when comparing products and prices online.
