“I was rather surprised to see that a 1:2500 plan could only be provided in A3 format (unless I have misinterpreted this and that the prices for that scale of plan were (considerably) more expensive than A4 format. I have tried to raise this matter with the company before, but gave up when I realised I had been sent a 'no-reply' format email. Can you explain why a smaller scale plan is more expensive. “BuyAPlan has a very good service for buying plans in a straightforward process, with clear instructions and costs. I'd prefer the option to select a scale in between the defaults, though this doesn't detract from the speed of delivery and the convenience of the service.”

“An easy site to negotiate and prepare for issue of Plans as required based upon own points of reference in Post Code terms. Cost element is a rapid multiplyer as scale increases however.”

“Very easy to use, so I use them every time I need a location plan or block plan for my planning applications. One thing that could be improved is the map title, which would be better for my work if it automatically added "Location Plan 1:1250" or "Block Plan 1:500", along with the site address. Because I have to manually add this every time. I would also like a measuring tool so that you can add distances to boundaries on the block plan.”

“I think the service is great, very easy, very efficient and food value. However, I have always thought how much easier it would be if there was an option to “snap” the manually drawn lines to lines on the map. I always select the manual draw option and the think red or blue lines I place as close as I can, but then when I look at the downloaded pdf, in which the red or blue lines are thinner, I often find a huge (depending on scale) gap between my manual lines and actual lines on the plan. I’ve even ended up then having to repair these in photoshop, which just seems wasteful on time. Please think about a “snap to point” option!”

“I had to purchase a plan to provide my local council with the position of my house as they informed me it couldn't be called The Coach House, my plan has this information printed on it!! But still I have had to change the name, so in my eyes the plan is wrong. Hence only 4 stars.”

Dear Leanne, the plan automatically puts the address that you have selected as the title of your plan, but you have the option to change that before purchasing and add what you want as the title on the 3rd step before purchasing. “Whilst just adequate for the required purpose, the site plan with streets on a diagonal might have been better at a larger area coverage to show the full extent of the roads possibly on an A3 sheet size. The North sign should be larger and bolder, placed at the top right instead of the top left”
