“The Lambeth council needs site plans at 1:100 or 1:200. The site confusingly calls these block plans and location plans site plans. Other issue, when you buy a Location plan. You have to be sure to mark the building or is it the block or both? Don't get this wrong. Strangely, there are hard rules for this and you think the site could help you better on this.”

Dear Fred, thanks for the review but we're a bit confused by this. We do supply plans at 1:200 scale. We do have a tool so you can outline your property like all other suppliers. We don't know which building or property is yours so it's best the customer marks their plan, we cannot do this for you. Can you perhaps clarify what you mean? Much appreciated.

“I was required to submit, retrospectively, a planning application for a new fence, the position of which was moved but it had not occurred to me that planning permission would apply. Apart from the cost of the application itself the need to provide various location and site drawings worried me and when I enquired locally the cost of the drawings was more than I wanted to pay. I found BuyAPlan on the internet and very quickly, from my post code, I had a location drawing and a site plan which I have now sent to the local authority - along with a dimensioned drawing of the fence. I am still mystified by the need for this planning application but the ease with which I was able to get the site plans made me much happier. Thank you.”

“Would love to be able to buy larger plans so a site at 1:200 can be completely fitted on a sheet - say A3 or even A2”

“We made an e-mail late afternoon and were extremely pleased with the performance and quality of the plan received so that a planning application could be made as quickly as possible.
