Paramount Plants appear to have a very good selection from the website however once the order is placed some of the plants I had ordered were not in stock and substituted. The delivery man refused to turn into my road which is regularly accessed by much larger vehicles. I had to drive to meet him and he scratched my car whilst transferring the plants. The plants were poor quality with many snapped branches and the leaves were covered in white limescale. I have since replaced both £80 buddleias with a larger healthier £6 version from B&Q. They failed to pick up the other items and after 6 weeks of chasing I was asked to dispose of them myself. I understand these are unprecedented times but I did feel the service was very poor and highly overpriced considering the quality of plants received.

Two of the plants ordered were in good condition, but the third was looking sorry for itself. Probably due to the poor way in which the plants had been packed. Am keeping my fingers crossed that they will all go on to make mature plants. Will not be ordering from this company again. I had e-mailed and advised them, but to date have not received a response.

The plant was strong and healthy and was well packaged upon arrival. The plant was advertised at £50, reduced to £37.50. After I had placed my order I subsequently found similar and larger plants priced between £40-£45, so not quite the bargain your website suggested. Add to this £29.95 delivery and the total of £67.45 seems to me to fall somewhere between an enthusiastic pricing structure and a rip off. Add to this a 13 working day delivery, when your site says allow up to 10 days, all I can say is that I shall not be using your company again.

The specimen delivered was not good and as it was a gift it has been very embarrassing/ inconvenient to try to organise a replacement.

Plants arrived in quite a poor state, with dirt all over the leaves. The bushes looked like they've been through a war. A bit disappointing

Only rating Paramount as 2 star at the moment as my delivery of a Tree Peony was very poor, it was packed in a much too large box and the (expensive) plant was in bits,I did complain and Paramount have promised a replacement (good) but as yet I haven't heard or received it - still waiting ,I will amend when replacement arrives

Received the portugese laurel plants and they were in a very dry condition. I immediately placed them in tubs with water and soil to help recover but noticed two plants were starting to discolour, one of which after planting has brown leaves and is questionable whether it will surivive, the other is questionable. The average height of the plants was less than the 80-100cm quoted and that was including the root ball. I have yet to receive the Escallonia Donard Seedling. Highly disappointed in the quality of all the plants and condition they arrived in, with 33% unlikely to survive of flourish. Quality control at despatch should have picked up that these plants were not in a good condition and replaced them or advised out of stock and I would have accepted a delay until better condition plants were available. Clearance and preparation of the site to be planted was based on six plants arriving and providing a sufficient screen. This is now not the case.

I have to say a little disappointed as you state "Customer service is very important to us". Great at replying by email before I placed the order. I received an email with a delivery date, which I tried to change as it was not convenient. Sent three emails to two different email addresses but didn't hear anything back. I had to pull someone off another job and pay them to sit around all day to accept the delivery. I understand the current situation but this isn't great customer services!!!

I bought at Paramount after a recommendation. Bad surprise when I got the plants. The 2 pots were not in good shape, loads of yellow leaves and loads even fell on the hallway. When I took the plants to the terrasse we reallised that they totally outgrown the plastic pots, no more soil left, only roots. The roots were laking space hence the bamboos had so many yellow leaves. Got in touch with customer service to complain who asked for pictures that I sent. Since then they never came back to me. Poor service and bad products.

We had to contact paramount to ask where our delivery was after the expected date had lapsed. I think our order was lost! It finally arrived after chasing several times poor service.

Paramount plants kept me in touch about when my plant was arriving. However when it arrived it was damaged and I had to re pot this. I paid a lot of money for delivery and was disappointed. I did inform Paramount of this issue but did not get a reply.

I was not happy with the plants and contacted paramount to complain that they looked dead and nothing like the photo used on the website to show what you could expect. I was informed that the dead grass was from last year. I do not believe that the grasses should have been sold in this condition. You should have removed the dead grass before selling them.

Much smaller sized plants were sent than I ordered. No option given to replace the plants, but a cost difference was eventually refunded. Poor communication and customer service resulted in me nearly not receiving my refund. The small plants were of a reasonable quality, but I have at least an extra season to wait for them to reach the required height now, which is inconvenient. I wouldn’t have enough confidence in the service to use Paramount Plants again.

Unfortunately, I think the Pampas Grass we've had delivered hasn't survived the journey? They both arrived looking very dry and yellow, having not had this type of plant before I assumed it would be ok once planted and watered well. However, despite using good compost and following the directions for planting, 1 weeks later and they're still looking very yellow and very dry. Please advise how I can go about making them healthier. Thank you One of the 12 bamboo plants purchased arrived with loads of maggots in the basket and within the roots. It's the only bamboo plant out of the 12 that doesn't have as many leaves growing anymore and that has purple and black coloured stems. Please advise.

The tree I ordered I cannot fault other than being in what can only be described as sand upon arrival. The tree was bought as a gift and I had asked them to send to that persons address but invoice to my own. 3 time I had asked for confirmation on which address it would be sent to and heard nothing in the end it was sent to the wrong address and I had to the arrange transport of a rather large tree

Sorry to say that this was the worst purchase i have ever made of a tree, and I have bought many. It arrived looking half dead, is much smaller than expected, and the root ball was encased in a metal basket when i came to plant it, surrounded by heavy blue clay. It is one of the most unhealthy trees i have ever seen. I am trying to rescue it - but will not buy from this supplier again.

Disappointing customer service. Plants dispatched on Wednesday for following day delivery did not arrive until the next Tuesday. OK, so problems with delivery during coronavirus lockdown plausible but never kept informed; had to keep chasing Paramount who sometimes did not get back to me as they suggested they would. Eventually, owner Karen seemed to get involved and matter was resolved.
